Desert Alarm came through solving our security problem. We were out of town and our house keys were stolen. David at Desert Alarm sent a person to meet a locksmith at our home and got all the locks changed that afternoon. We are so glad we changed to desert alarm.

We chose Desert Alarm because we wanted to support local, as we are a small and independent business ourselves - Las Palmas Brewing. We had a break in recently, and the alarm did not disarm, leaving the burglars to ransack the place. We understand an alarm system is not going to prevent burglars from trying, but when the service does not work as it's suppose to, it leaves you wondering - what are we paying for? Unfortunately, after a weekend's worth of back and forth with Desert Alarm, and having their technician, Cesar, tinkering with the system during operating hours, closing the doors on my customers so he can diagnose the issue. He says "everything is working fine, you should contact supervisor Reyna". They settled on blaming the failed system on our landline provider and their connection issue. Washing their hands clean and saying "sorry about what happened, but we'd love to offer you our new wireless system to prevent this from happening again - free of charge". They refused to take any accountability for their product. I asked to be refunded for the year as we pay it in full upfront, and they flat out told me - "no, we will not do that".

Shame on you Desert Alarm. Do better.

I am not changing the narrative. In fact, everything you are defending I clearly mentioned in my original statement. I don't understand why you would even offer a service that has any potential in failing when it comes to security, but that's besides the point.

I asked for a refund. I believe most people, including yourself, in my position would too. After a very long conversation, Desert Alarm denied, and instead offered me an upgrade. I explained that the only way I can trust D.A. again is if I got a refund to what I've paid up to this point ($538 confirmed by Johanne), and then I'd be glad to consider moving forward with our partnership.

Bottom line is, a refund amount of $538 was worth more to Desert Alarm than keeping a business relationship healthy. I'm glad this dispute is now on a public platform, and I hope you continue to respond to my issue so anyone looking to do business with D.A. can make their own decision. You have my contact info if YOU wish to reconsider your solution. Otherwise, best of luck.

Thomas installed a hardwired camera system for my family home, we were debating between Ring and Next, but we made the right choice. we are all sleeping, much more easy at night knowing that we can look at our cameras at any time and see what’s going on. She throughly went over all the details of everything with me before getting anything installed. She answered all my questions and I knew this was the company for me. Ramon the technician was awesome! He was very professional and made sure that everything was set properly by checking and re-checking all alarm contact sensors. He also answered all my questions. I loved the fact that they are local, and
if there is any problem that arises I can easily contact them. They can also send a technician quickly.

I wanted to take a min & give some thanks to Desert Alarm for having such great technicians, such as John & Hector . We’ve recently been experiencing some signal issues with our alarm system. We thought it was just some battery replacement issues. So John came out & checked everything for me & replaced several batteries. He was also kind enough to take the time to get my app working on my new phone so I could check my cameras while away from home. He also checked the main system to ensure it was recording properly. A few weeks went by & I was getting another error code & not able to alarm the home correctly, again.
I called Desert Alarm and they sent Hector out very quickly (without another service fee) and Hector pinpointed the problem which was something blocking the full signal to the area. He installed a repeater box and stayed to check all the other responders and we’re up and running fantastic. Desert Alarm has been great and their techs are the best.. thanks again to John & Hector!
