It is always very busy at this Costco, but the products are great and the service is outstanding! There are always great meat prices, and the quality of their meat is better than most grocery stores. Checkout lines are usually long, but they move quickly. The last thing I want to mention is that their pizza in their food court is fantastic. I recommend calling in your order while you are shopping, and it will be ready to pick up by the time you check out.

You can find most of your grocery items in here. Not as big as other locations that I visited, but It good enough for your weekly shopping. Nice staff, clean and neat Costco's store.

It’s a typical Costco location, the parking lot looks big but during peak times both the parking lot and warehouse gets packed. Alcohol section has been separated on the outside, they still don’t have automatic ID checks at the entrance but they have six self checkout counters. They should have handheld scanners to scan the larger items (i.e water) so we won’t have to bother to ask anyone for help. But you can now pick pastries (2 pack muffin etc) on the checkout screen. Food court is pretty quick and the seating is just right. Tire center is pretty good as long as you schedule an appointment beforehand.

Love Costco! Always unique items

This is basically for Costco corporate office. We absolutely love the Hoover Costco but it has completely unsafe for shoppers. The store is too crowded all the time. When the people who are looking at memberships at the door are having to count people when they walk in, it is too crowded. It is time to build another one in Birmingham. If Huntsville deserves 2 then Birmingham does. When our membership is up, we probably will not renewing it.

Regretting purchasing $1200 set of tires 3 weeks ago.
Need a flat repair. I was asked if I could take the tire off in the parking lot and roll it to the service bay to expedite getting the tire repaired. I came yesterday and they wanted me to leave my vehicle. Not possible.
I now have to wait outside for an hour for the store to open to ask the tire desk to repair my tire. They need to take a course in customer service. This is not what you expect from Costco. Customer for years. First and last tire purchase.

Great products. Good prices. Unfortunately, no "scan & go", so checkout is long. Return lines are long. We waited 30 minutes to pick up our membership cards. Definitely not a hassle-free experience.
