ConveyThis gets to keep YOUR money, even if THEIR translation service fails.

Our company purchased a subscription to utilize the JavaScript implementation of ConveyThis's translation service. Unfortunately, from the moment we attempted to integrate their API, we encountered significant issues. Despite following all instructions and troubleshooting on our end, the functionality did not perform as advertised, and we were unable to get it working.
Seeking support from ConveyThis was our only recourse. Unfortunately, their response time was unacceptably slow. ConveyThis does not provide a phone number for support, which forces you to rely solely on email correspondence. Each time we reached out, we received vague reassurances that they were "working on it." When they requested access to our testing environment, we granted it, hoping it would lead to a resolution. However, despite our patience and repeated follow-ups over several weeks, there was no progress.
Ultimately, we were left with no choice but to abandon ConveyThis and switch to another provider. After this frustrating experience, I requested a partial refund (75%) since we only used their service for testing purposes. Their response was dismissive, stating, "I understand your dissatisfaction, but please understand that we are only acting in accordance with the established company policy." It became clear that customer satisfaction and reputation were not priorities for them.
I have also reached out to their payment processor, Paddle.com, in an attempt to obtain a refund, but this has been equally unsuccessful. Given the continued lack of resolution, I am now forced to explore other avenues to resolve the issue.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against using ConveyThis for any website translation needs. Our experience has been one of consistent disappointment, lack of support, and unresolved issues. Proceed with caution if you are considering this service.
UPDATE
The chargeback attempt I made was ruled in the favor of ConveyThis. They get to keep my $1599 despite a complete failure to actually provide their service as promised.
