Recently I had Thomas White from Backwoods Engineering come to my place of business to service my Lenovo P620 Workstation.
He also performs factory service on Dell Computers. I was getting strange errors when I tried to run BIOS updates and did not realize the underlying severity
of errors of this type. (Luckily, I had everything backed up quite a few times including my boot drive!) Thomas came armed with a new motherboard after I had just
had another Lenovo tech out to the house with a new motherboard 6 months earlier.
Surprise, Surprise! When the new motherboard went in, the machine got bricked. You would think that I would be upset with Thomas at that point, but that's when
his superior skills really kicked in. He was able to work with me to sucessfully battle Lenovo technical support after one more trouble call to get depot support
to get me a new CPU, system board, and mother board via a shipment of my entire machine less my drives to Lenovo's North Carolina depot facility all expenses paid.
Premier onsite service for 3 years came with the unit, and I only had to pay $160 to add another two years to my current contract.

Folks, I can't say enough good things about Thomas, Backwoods Engineering and their superior service.

This shop consists of a kick butt mother son team pursing the dream of all private entrepreneurs while simultaneously fixing all computers that come their way. I am so pleased with the quick service, amazingly affordable repairs and all without any hidden fees. They fixed and upgraded both my macs, retrieved and restored information to my new Mac and made sure there was no malware. This team is a fine tuned, well oiled machine that gets the job done quickly, professionally and affordably. Highly recommend you use their services! I won’t take my tech anywhere else!

Called 5 minutes before they closed. Explained my issue. The owner said he would stay open so I could bring in my computer. He stayed open and I was able to drop it off and the issue was solved the next day. It was great service and I will be going back again if I have any issues.

I needed a software reload on an old Dell laptop and I provided a copy of Windows 10, but the person who was working on it kept getting errors. Then I contacted Backwoods Engineering and Thomas took charge immediately. He finished the job in less than an hour at a reasonable cost and its now running like a new machine. Next time I'll go to Backwoods Engineering first.
