My husband contacted this firm over a year ago. We had several deaths in our family back to back. We had moved 3 times taking care of sick parents. We told this firm we had zero documentation. We were told this would not be a problem, we would just fill out authorization forms and they would handle it. We were then told there were issues getting our information from the State, but that they would work on that and let us know if we needed to do anything on our end - we never heard another word on that. We were given extensive forms to fill out, which we needed our tax documents to complete - we told them first thing, we did not have any of our paperwork. After over a year of searching, reaching out to old companies, digging through storage and endless boxes (all while taking care of and then losing my grandmother and uncle thirty days apart. This is after my husband and I lost 3 of our 4 parents in the prior 15 months, that isn't their problem, but we were very transparent about how very difficult our lives currently were and why we had none of our paperwork), I get everything I can to their office via email. It took 5 days to get anyone to respond, just to let me know they received the information. Then they only reached out to tell us that if we want to proceed we now have to pay another $599 to reinstate their power of attorney. No warning. No communication. Because we signed a contract, they will not refund anything even though they have done ZERO work. Literally zero. They have to be hounded just to get an email confirmation. Make no mistake, they are extremely helpful and responsive until you have paid them. Then you are on your own.

Since I cannot respond to their reply…. You received our documents in the separate emails, as the first email stated on MONDAY. This is Friday. It took until Thursday afternoon to receive a confirmation reply.
Your office was told before a contract was signed, we did NOT have any of our paperwork. It wasn’t until yesterday we heard that you are not able to pull state records like my husband was told, which was why we signed the contract. No paperwork means we have no paperwork. Authorizations for you to pull it was signed and sent in 4/9/2024. I’m still waiting on confirmation that was received. I have texts from Stacy telling me you were having email issues. Very very very poor communication on your part. Especially since you never should have taken our case. Which you didn’t actually do, since the only work you B performed was depositing our check. Thanks for absolutely nothing!

So glad I went with Coast One Tax Group..there are other tax relief companies out there but I found they mainly want a few thousand dollars to help with setting up a payment plan to the IRS..I did that on my own for years for free!
