Clear Laser City Clinic, thank you for your response. I believe there are a few inaccuracies that need to be addressed based on my experience.

1. Numbing Time:
While you mentioned in your reply that I was informed the numbing time would be shorter due to my late arrival, this is simply not true. At no point during my visit was I made aware that the numbing process would be shortened. The staff repeatedly told me that the numbing time was 40 minutes, which aligns with your standard procedure. I was watching the clock during my treatment, and I can confirm that this did not happen.
2. Phone Reminder:
You mentioned that I was informed to reschedule due to my tardiness. However, the only communication I received was a call reminding me of my 10:00 AM appointment. There was no mention of the impact my late arrival would have on the treatment or that I should consider rescheduling. If this was the case, it was not clearly communicated to me.
3. Machine Issue:
Regarding the machine pause, I was told by the therapist that the issue was due to the touchscreen not working during the depth adjustment, which caused a longer pause during my treatment. The explanation provided in your response, claiming that it was due to adjusting settings for a deeper injection, does not match what I was told at the time. The therapist apologized for the malfunction and acknowledged that the touch screen was not working properly.
4. Pain and Injection Depth:
While I understand that deeper injections may cause more discomfort, I was not properly prepared for the level of pain I experienced. As mentioned earlier, I was assured that the numbing would be 40 minutes, which was not the case, and the discomfort was worsened by the equipment issue. Horrible Experience – Would Not Recommend

I had two treatments of exosome at Clear Laser City in Manhattan, and both experiences were extremely disappointing.

First Visit:
The staff rushed through the entire process, claiming they wanted to leave early. They skipped cleaning my face and directly applied the numbing cream. When I asked about aftercare, they impatiently told me to take a picture of a guideline paper and read it myself. Shortly after, I developed severe acne. At first, I thought it was due to my own negligence during aftercare, as I ate spicy food. However, I had undergone similar treatments at other clinics without such issues, even when eating spicy food. In hindsight, the lack of proper preparation and rushed service likely contributed to the acne outbreak.

Second Visit:
I decided to give them another chance and was more cautious with my skincare routine to avoid breakouts. This time, the service was slightly better, probably because I went early on a weekday when the clinic was less busy. The prep lady was more patient, cleaned my whiteheads, and tried to reduce inflammation. However, the numbing cream was not left on long enough, and the treatment was excruciatingly painful.

To make matters worse, the procedure was interrupted because the machine’s touchscreen malfunctioned. The operator seemed inexperienced and unprofessional—she didn’t even tie up her long hair, which is something I’ve never seen in a professional clinic. The interruption and lack of expertise made an already painful experience even worse.

When I raised my concerns with the front desk staff, they blamed me for being late, suggesting that this was the reason for the lower quality service. This excuse is absurd. A professional clinic should never compromise the quality of care, even if a patient is late. They could have asked me to reschedule instead of rushing through the treatment.

Conclusion:
This clinic lacks professionalism, consistency, and proper hygiene practices. I have requested a refund for the remaining treatments and will not be returning. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Dr lee is good. I had 2 laser treatments and I can tell my dark spots are already getting lighter! The location is also convenient to access.
