Recently, this movie theater added THIRTY MINUTES of ads and previews AFTER the movie start time. It turned a 2.5 hr run time into 3 hours. This is absolutely absurd.

At this point, my family would rather just pay for the movie and watch in the comfort of our home.

We really enjoy this theater. They typically have plenty of showtimes for this newest movies, and they participate in all of Cinemark's amazing promotions. The theater itself is always clean, and the prices feel very reasonable in comparison to other locations. The Cinemark Rewards program is the best awards program I've ever been a member of. For $10/month (less if you pay annually), you get a free ticket each month (bankable if you don't use them and you can use multiple at a time) and you get 20% off concessions in addition to the points for each dollar you spend. Once a month, we attend a matinee, pay for one ticket (receive 2), get a large popcorn, 2 candies, and a water - all for under $30. Parking at the theater is also generally available, and it's rarely overly crowded despite being the only theater in the 30,000 person City of Monterey.

Too loud. Cannot enjoy movies. Take my kids there and they have to plug there ears. Would rather wait for the movies to stream.

Yesterday, a Saturday matinee, we watched a movie that had been released the week prior. There was one other person in the theatre. So empty! This place is always clean and comfy, people get ur buns in these seats! We cannot lose this place, I am not paying for surround sound. Plus, the popcorn is so good and they now have free refills on fountain drinks! Come on, watch a big screen movie how it was meant to be watched.

Nice and clean theater! The food can get you through until your next meal...it's that good! And the seats are comfy enough to bring your pajamas, and resemble home! But, seriously....a great place to take the family for a reasonable amount for a weekend outing. Clean sound system and picture quality was great! We sat in the 10th row up...and theater 13...and it's was beautiful!
