Amelia changed our cat’s lives! My boyfriend and I were planning on moving in together, but we were having major difficulties introducing our cats. My cat (adult neutered male) frequently attempted to charge at my boyfriend’s cat (adult spayed female) and would scream and growl loudly anytime she was around. There were several incidents that led to my cat breaking down gates and attacking my boyfriend’s cat. During one incident, I received a pretty severe bite from my cat while trying to separate the two of them. We tried almost everything, including prescription calming meds, but there was no improvement. Just as we were giving up and preparing to live in a split household, we gave Amelia a chance — Best decision ever! After just one month, our cats are now living together without any recent setbacks. Amelia is amazing at reading cat behavior and is full of great tips and tricks. She prioritizes moving at a pace that is efficient and progressive, while still assuring that all parties involved feel safe and comfortable. Amelia will answer questions via email, so you don’t always have to wait until your next follow up appointment to address concerns. I would recommend Amelia to anyone dealing with a similar situation!

We were at our wits ends. We have four very beloved cats, but the oldest had started stalking and meowing angrily at our youngest one. Fights were happening between the cats, and additionally, the oldest cat had begun to lash out at people, too. He bit and scratched causing unexpected and very painful bloody wounds. We tried turning to our vets and online videos and behavior books for help. But nothing that we tried was working.

Amelia came to our house and changed our lives. If the cat whisperer and Mary Poppins had a child, she would be Amelia. She was kind and confident, and she immediately spoke our cat’s language and our language as well. She helped us know how to be better versions of ourselves, make a plan for a peaceful and harmonious home, and helped us believe that we could improve our situation. We followed her plan, and by the time we had our follow up visit (about 3 weeks later), the fighting and tension had dropped by 95%. Every day, the little bit of conflict that remains lessens, and I can see that it will probably all get resolved in time.

As a bonus, Amelia’s prices are very, very economical. She was willing to flex with us between in person and zoom meetings. Finally, our cats absolutely adored her. I could not be happier! We are very, very glad we worked with Amelia, and our cats are, too. Harmony and happiness is restored and our world is a peaceful place.

Amelia's help saved our cats from killing each other! They were attacking each other last spring and Amelia helped us train both of our cats to settle with excellent training instructions and consistent training. It took almost five months for them to settle down, but they did and Amelia was with us the entire time! She is very warm, friendly, and extra helpful with animals! I can't recommend her supportive help enough!

Amelia is amazing! Our little rescue puppy, Sadie, went through an intense fear phase and became extremely reactive to people and other dogs. Amelia was so good with her. She came to our home and went on walks with us to see exactly what was going on. Amelia was creative and really worked with Sadie and myself to provide several tools to help calm the reactions. Now Sadie is great with new people and so much better with other dogs! We can all go for walks now and enjoy the time instead of being afraid we might see another dog! Amelia is now spending time with Sadie in the back yard and her fence reactivity is greatly improving. I recommend Amelia to anyone who needs a kind and compassionate trainer who loves dogs and will put their needs first. She is very patient with the people too! We are so glad to be able to work with her!

I could not be more grateful for Amelia and what she did for our family. As an expecting mom with 2 already fearful (and aggressive at times) kitties, I was prepared for the worst with how the cats would respond to our new addition. Amelia met with us virtually for the months leading up to adding our new baby girl to the family to help us prepare our cats for what was coming. And the result was something I couldn't have been happier with... I truly think they are calmer and more at peace now, even with a screaming baby in the house. It's quite remarkable. Do not hesitate to reach out to Amelia for any behavior concerns with your furry children. She is patient, knowledgeable, and truly cares. Thank you Amelia for all you did for us! I know who I'm reaching out to first the second we have any concerns/questions with our girls. 🙂

Amelia helped us train our extremely rambunctious puppy. She was very patient and kind and full of great ideas to make training more successful and fun for Olive. I really appreciated that Amelia did not have a one-size-fits-all approach to dog training. Instead, she worked closely with us to determine how to best address Olive's needs so that she could get over her fears of everyday activities, like riding in the car.

While Amelia is wonderful with dogs, she is also absolutely amazing with cats. We had some issues with our cat as he got older and she helped us give him better quality of life. You'd be hard pressed to find someone with more experience and knowledge of cat behavior. If you are looking for help, give her a call. Your cat will be so happy you did.
