We have been using CA HR Services for going on 2+ years now. Nadia has been wonderful keeping us "in line" (i.e., compliant) with changing CA labor laws. She's been professional, amazingly knowledgeable, and a true joy to work with. She has assisted us from the beginning with team member recruitment, developing our employee handbook, coming to our office and showing myself and my office manager how to "correctly" process and file new-hire paperwork, and has provided customized HR subject matter trainings to our teams and clinical committee members. She regularly keeps us apprised of changes to CA labor laws that we need to be aware of, and makes herself accessible when we need immediate advice. Not such a good experience. After reviewing the circumstances with CA HR services around the decision to terminate an employee 100% based on performance that was currently out sick, we were told the risk of a law suit was very low based on the information and documentation we provided to CA HR services. Now our company is being sued for 80K. Our attorney who is now handling our case told us that was "terrible advice" and that we should have brought the employee back for a minimum of 30 to 60 days before proceeding with the termination.
