Extremely hard to get customer support and cancel your service. Troy Cable was good, but the C Spire takeover has made the experience miserable. Don't expect to get anything for being a loyal customer.

We were originally excited to get fiber internet as the thought was that we would get better speeds with multiple devices using the internet. This was not the case which is unfortunate when you work from home. Also the installation and then when we finally quit the service was a mess. During installation they cut the line of the internet we were using even though we weren’t scheduled to start using their services for another three days. Trying to explain to them they cut our current ISP was a mess. There was mass confusion but eventually they sent someone out to rerun a line since it was their mistake. Now trying to turn in our equipment and the door has had a sign on it that’s says “Be back in 15 minutes” for the last 45 minutes. We went and ran some other errands and returned and there was still no one in office to accept our equipment. The customer service for the company is the number one reason you don’t want to use their services.

Turned in my cable equipment, no questions asked, nobody worried about why I'm cancelling it. Slapped $500 onto my bill afterwards. I didn't sign a contract. Wish Troy Cable didn't get bought out by corporate Internet... Going to Pea River for Internet immediately when it becomes available. It's cheaper anyways...

Very poor service. Cost is higher than competitors. They make promises about their service and fiber that fall short: internet connection did not improve and no customer service after hours or weekends. Expect a $70 fee for service calls. Poor quality install as well: left a line unburied and drilled an unnecessary hole in my floor away from the wall for a cord which sticks out under a bed. I have coaxial cable outlets in all rooms so the hole damaging my floor and carpet was unnecessary. Just a mess and very disappointing. Internet was spotty at best and shut down often, usually no service at night. I was very wrong for thinking I’d pay more for something better. Save your sanity and choose anyone else.

Please note my review has nothing to do with the speed or variables behind their internet services. I do not have them as my ISP, but my experience with them has been horrendous. Was a prospective "new customer", and glad I stayed with my current ISP. Bore holes into my house after explicitly asking them not to prior to the service order fulfillment date. Extremely unprofessional and unresponsive, from both in-house people and their contractors and subs. Like pulling teeth to get them to correct their mistakes. Do better

It has been 2 months and I still have a cable running across my yard, over my driveway, and in through the back yard. Still waiting for them to bury their cable line. Was told they are backed up. To bad I can't use that excuse when it comes to paying my monthly bill!
