Scheduling person is horrible. I needed an ultra sound and when speaking to the scheduler she stated that the insurance would cover it all. A few weeks later I received a bill for over $700.00. I had appointment changed and not told about the change until I showed up for the appointment that was scheduled. One girl called and rescheduled my appointment several times in one day. The schedule person stated the doctor had a procedure to do before my appointment. I show up and basically sit in the room for about an hour. Upset I told the doctor of the unprofessional and stupid staff that she has working for her. Also spoke to the staff manager and hey we're apologetic but I felt like it was to late. My doctor then set an apointment with her at one of the satellite offices where she visits a few times a month. I agreed to see her there. But now after receiving my $700.00 I will be looking for another office/doctor to see.

We followed protocol and had a referral sent over. Waited two weeks and no call from the office. We have called for over a month and keep getting transferred to the “new patient coordinator” we have left her several messages and have never received a call back. This office needs a new office manager, who is going to make sure staff is doing their job. What’s going on with Baylor these days?

I'm not sure what is going on with these earlier reviews, but my experience was excellent. Sumeet Asrani is my doctor, and he has been great. Also, I've received excellent service and easy billing from his office staff and nurses. You do have to wait a while to get an appointment scheduled if you don't have an emergency or terminal illness, but that is pretty typical for specialists. My experience from the past year is that the office keeps its appointments running on time pretty well, so I'm not sure why these other reviewers are so negative. Perhaps they have bad luck. Also, excellent care is expensive. Get used to that idea!

Horrible horrible horrible. The wait time to speak with someone just to set up an appointment or discuss about a referral is ridiculously long. They made the process so difficult. They continued to advise me that a referral auth was needed when they already had it in their possession. We finally did a 3-way call with the primary office and this specialist office and the insurance company and still we could not solidify anything because the coordinator had to speak with her supervisor. There was no concrete information only stating "we need an auth code" the drs office sent everything they could possible provide. I decided that I could not spend one more day going back-and-forth with this office so I called United healthcare back and they simply gave me a new provider and the referral was sent on the same day and the appointment was made on the same day. It was the fastest service possible just by simply calling them. At this new office, I made an appointment with the doctor and it was so easy to get ahold of somebody. The office, liver consultants of Texas is not worth it at all. It was a huge headache dealing with them. There needs to be major improvement on the administration and handling of the appointments and insurance of for MA tion. The staff seems very disengaged when they get on the phone and simply just not taking the patient's information and request seriously. They deal with such a high volume of calls this is the norm for them.

Doctor Sumeet Asrani is one of the kindest most caring physicians I have ever met. He is also one of the busiest people I have ever met. Still he took the time to explain my condition and treatment. You should know that this is a process. It is not a one size fits all cure. My treatment was delayed for nearly two years because the drugs still needed FDA approval. In November of 2016 I will have been free of the Hepatitis C virus for two years. You should know that services such as radiologists, anesthesiologists, and laboratories may also bill you separately for their services. I don't like it any better than you but it is standard operating procedure by almost every hospital in The United States.

The office staff was very rude and uncaring. I had to wait a month to be seen by a doctor after being referred by my PCP. Even though they got my records from my Doctors office they had no information about my health and I had to explain everything to them.

Once I actually saw the Doctor he was also very uncaring and hard to understand. He gave me no information that I had not already learned from searching with Google and my PCP.

I feel like this was a waste of my time as I had a 10:30 am appointment and was not seen till 11 am for vitals and then 11:15 before the doctor came in. I was also told that I needed to fast for this appointment and it was not needed as they did no blood work. What makes this worse is that I am diabetic and typically start my day at 6:30am.

I would say avoid this office at all cost and find a different provider. I will not be returning.
