This is another beach along the Jersey Shore that I visit every so often. I like this beach because it is quieter than some of the more popular beaches, even though after a certain time the beach looks overly crowded and packed like sardines. Parking can seem quite difficult, so I suggest going as early as possible if driving down. There also aren't too many food options with the except of The Columns or Promenade, but food and drinks are allowed on the beach. There are multiple booths to buy wristbands, which for an adult costs $12 for the day. The beach is kept clean, but it doesn't have too many restrooms. Overall, this is one of the better beaches along the Jersey Shore.

This is only one beach on whole Jersey shore where you can enjoy swimming, no waves by the open bridge area and rocks where fishermans gathering.Safe place for children and olderly to swim. But you still enjoy jumping in the waves on whole rest of the beach. This is a family place. Beautifully decorated for every holiday, boardwalk has nice light fixtures and whole Town too this is my favorite place for all year around to be. Love it ❤️😍

Avon-by-the-Sea Public Beach is a fantastic spot for a day out by the ocean! The beach is clean, inviting, and perfect for just kicking back and relaxing. The gentle waves make it great for swimming, and the wide sandy area is perfect for sunbathing or building sandcastles with the kids. The town around the beach is beautiful, with cute shops and delicious local eateries that are perfect for grabbing a bite after some fun in the sun. Lifeguards are on duty, so you can feel safe while you enjoy the day. Overall, Avon-by-the-Sea is a lovely and friendly place that makes a day at the beach feel like a little slice of paradise.

First time visiting this beach.
I loved it. Clean, organized, has showers to remove the salt from the body at the exit of the beach, several clean bathrooms, restaurants, hotels and shops nearby. Parking available for free, even though I was a weekday I didn't have to pay anything. Weekends entry is 10, I'm not sure about the price of parking on weekends. The water was very clean but still cold

It can get packed very quick, I went on a Saturday. Still a nice place to go. If you get free parking you’re lucky. I had to pay for parking, price wasn’t too bad $1.50 per hr. Paid $9 for 6hrs

Planning to go early morning to just watch the sunrise. Was not able to wake up early, but still went and my husband drove an hour and 20min. Arrived a little late to see the sunrise but still very happy even if sun is up and feeling hot. The beach is very much inviting and enticing. Me and my husband just walked in the sand. The shore is not that crowded but a lot of people are doing their walking and jogging by the boardwalk. Loving this beach, looks so calm and serene. Parking is not a problem, when you go early though. 🤭😄

Love coming to the Avon Inlet beach. The cove makes it a safe swimming area. The inlet is exciting with boats coming in and out! Boardwalk is fabulous. Bathrooms are clean. Nice family fun!
