I was going to try and be as easy about this post as possible because I do believe Ron is a nice enough guy and he was in the middle of a move. But after getting under my truck today to fix my fog lights (they haven’t been working since I got my truck back from them), I feel like this is justified and I just want everyone to beware.

I hit a deer September 12 that demolished the plastic on my front end, the bumper, flipped around and dented the bottom of my door, and wrinkled my hood. I took it to Ron same day for a quote that he got to me a few days later. He said he’d let me know when to bring my truck in as he was going to start ordering parts. He told me to bring it in October 28th and told me he’d have it done in two weeks if not sooner. Two weeks came and went, hadn’t heard anything. Tried to call, no answer, no call back. After we hit week four, I went down to check on it to see how things were going. He told me they were waiting on the fog light housing to come in, whatever, no big deal. I asked if I could see it so we walked back and first thing I clocked was the door had been repainted and re trimmed with the giant dent still in it. He told me he wasn’t sure how it had been missed but they would bang it out for me. The bumper still had not been put back on at this point either. Two more weeks go by and still no communication. The last week he had it, I was sitting at the light on Main Street and Chesnut, and low and behold, I glance over and there’s my truck. The window was down and I saw very plainly who was driving it. I was stopped so he had the green light and proceeds to rip through the intersection and roll coal at the next. I was dumbfounded. My husband then went down there to talk to Ron who called me a liar and said there was no way it could’ve been my truck….as if there are even 5 of MY truck running around Cortez. The bumper was still off, the tell tell red coolant filter on the front end was super prevalent, and I have a very distinct sticker in my back window. Honestly, it sticks out like a sore thumb. Steve tells him we will be there by end of week to get my truck no matter what. We get the call two days later that it is ready. I took dad with me as he’s done a lot of car body work. I have attached pictures of the results of 6 weeks and $5,000+. The roof paint clear coat is already peeling (he didn’t charge me for that), the door is bondoed and it’s very obvious (the quote said he’d be replacing the whole panel), the paint at the bottom of the door is dempled, the hood is very crooked (I’m sure it’s a hyper extended spring from the impact but that’s WHY it was at the body shop), the front plastic has a chip in it, the plastic inner fender on the other side was not replaced and I made a point to mention it when I dropped the truck off ā€œwe’ll get it all taken care of for youā€. My fog lights had not been plugged back in and when we got under it today to fix that, the bolts holding my bumper on were so loose that we had to thread them on with our fingers to then tighten, that red coolant filter was missing a bolt and the one that was there was so loose it’s a wonder I hadn’t lost the filter, and there are no clips on the bumper to hold it on. The paint on the hood is orange peel texture, my cooler has two bolts on one side, none on the other and to top it off, my door handle was busted when I picked it up. I didn’t drop it off that way…all in all, I don’t think Ron had his eyes on my truck one time, his son was the one who was out joy riding it, and I am going to have to take my truck somewhere else and pay more money to get this all done correctly.

Scratched my paint in several spots while fixing my car. Clips on the front bumper they installed weren’t properly fitted. Didn’t replace light on the side fender, but charged me for it anyways. Card fees were outrageous. My car was not ready when they said it would be, and they did not offer any cash discounts whatsoever. Preyed upon my situation and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. They weren’t even polite over the phone. I expect seeing as Cortez is a dying town, they’re trying to rack up as much $ as possible from anyone who happens to need their services. Just awful

Absolutely amazing service!!! On a roadtrip to Yellowstone when we hit a deer along the way. We rolled up to this shop with a driver side door tied to the rest of the car. No one else was able to take us. They were able to fix it up enough to get on our way within the hour. We will never forget their kindness and service.

I chose this company due to their high ratings. However, I have been very disappointed with the quality if their work. The first time I took my car in there were several problems. The first was that it took several days longer than expected to complete and they did not communicate with me about the delay. There were several problem areas in the paint. There was a drip, areas that were improperly sanded and rough, an area that appeared to have cracked under the clear coat and an area that was not painted at all and chips were still showing. Then a few days later one of my rear reflectors fell off while I was driving. I contacted the company and took my car back in. I showed them the areas I was concerned with and they said they would fix them. After they had my car for 4 additional days, the only thing they fixed was the drip and that was poorly done. The area where the drip was is now an indentation in the paint. The others areas were not addressed at all. At least I have a new reflector. Unless it falls off too.

Great experience. Ron and crew accomplished what was discussed during intial estimate. Body work and paint looks great, can not tell anything was done. Provided transportation as well as worked with insurance company. Completed project in timely manner.

I recently had work done on my 2018 Nissan Murano after hitting a deer. ACP did a fantastic job on the repairs. These guys were great, and provided excellent customer service. The owner Ron, gave me a tour of his shop, and personally inspected my vehicle prior to scheduling the repairs in order to accurately submit repair needs and costs to my insurance instead of relying only on the initial insurance estimate (which would have prolonged the time frame of the repairs). Repairs were done timely, workmanship was skilled, and the finished product is beautiful.
Thanks ACP!
