I began speaking with a staffing agent, within that week she had arranged for me to interview with the county and I was hired right after the interview to start the following week. I had a very positive experience working with AppleOne. From the very beginning, they were incredibly professional and responsive. I was particularly impressed with Jan and Kristine, who handled my case.
Jan was quick to respond to my inquiries and efficiently arranged a convenient interview time. For the past five years, AppleOne and especially Jan helped get me great assignments from temporary to permanent. Jan always got back to me promptly and always kept me in the loop for new assignments. For the most part, the other agencies (the ones you see on TV and radio constantly) either promised you the moon and/or constantly sent you on interviews with companies you were either underqualified for or just a bad fit. I am now on my latest assignment with a company that I also worked with a year ago through Apple One and I couldn't be happier! Apple One has been the most helpful, attentive, and resourceful hiring agency I've worked with in my 2 year job search. As a recent college graduate and first generation low income student, I struggled immensely with finding a job in my career field due to not having any experience. I wasn't able to take any internships but has to prioritize working service jobs to pay my own way. I didn't realize how behind I was until repeat rejections told me I had to go back to school and obtain certficiation to become somewhat a competitive candidate in the legal field since no one would even take me in as a unpaid intern to at the very least help me aquire skills or exposure. I felt defeated and hopeless until I blindly applied for a position offered through Apple One. I received a phone call and within a month I was hired almost immediately. I've met with ther recruiters, but no one had ever taken me as seriously as Apple One. I felt like I was important to them. I worked with Diana Samia, and she gave me all the encouragement I needed. She prepared me for my interivew, gave me helpful information and tips, and pushed for my applicaton, really advocating for my potential. If all of that doesn't speak for itself, I was offered a job after the first round of interviews in a selection process that was supposed to take 2 rounds. I am incredibly grateful to have their help and hope to continue to work with them in the future should I ever need any assistance.
