We love Marcia and her team! First and foremost, after just a handful of days attending, our two-year-old starting hopping out of my arms and into Marcia's house with joy and excitement. He looks forward to seeing Marcia and his friends every day! Her positivity, energy, and expertise create the perfect environment for the children to connect, explore, learn, and have fun. From learning about the weather to practicing yoga, Marcia and her team keep the kiddos engaged with thoughtful activities and structured approach. She's an amazing communicator and we get fantastic photos every day. Importantly, she welcomed us with open arms when we relocated to Mill Valley after the LA fires — it was a hectic time (and I'm pregnant with our second baby), and she has been nothing but accommodating and compassionate. It's exactly what you dream of when building a community for yourself and your children! So — thank you, Marcia! And we 100% recommend Alegria to anyone considering.

We are so incredibly grateful that we found Alegria!!! As new parents sending our 16 month old son Owen to daycare for the first time last fall we were definitely nervous. On the very first day, I expected Owen to cry when we dropped him off; instead he cried when we picked him up because he didn’t want to leave! Marcia is the most caring, warm, and energetic person and all of the kids clearly adore her (same with her assistant Julia!) In the past few months Owen has grown into such a curious, playful, funny little boy and we know that is in no small part thanks to Alegria. Thank you Marcia and Julia!!!

My husband and I could not be more grateful that we found Marcia and Alegria Childcare. Our son has been going to Alegria since he was 5 months old, and we honestly cannot imagine a more wonderful daycare environment. Marcia runs Alegria with structure and experience, and the energy of her (immaculate!) home is filled with love. Marci is incredibly consistent and reliable - she is able to relate to children with ease and our son lights up with a smile whenever he sees her. Marcia is a great communicator with parents too - always positive and clear. We love receiving photos of our son and the other kiddos during the day, it's clear Marci puts a lot of time and thought into rotating toys and activities to keep the kids engaged. She is also very thoughtful about the food she gives the children and has been such a help in our son's transition to solids. We truly couldn't be more grateful for Marci and the Alegria team, they have our highest recommendation!

I can't say enough great things about Alegria Childcare and Marcia. My daughter has been there since she was 6 months old (she's 18 months now) and on day one she loved it! Marcia has a special way with kids and makes them feel comfortable immediately. She is also incredibly creative with activities each day and how she uses her indoor and outdoor space. I love seeing photos of what the kids are up to each day in the group text too. It always looks so fun!

My daughter has learned so much in her time there and I'm always amazed at what she knows (the best was her learning please right when she started talking). We are so happy we found Marcia!

I can't say enough nice things about Marcia and Alegria Daycare. They truly treat the children as if they are their own and it is apparent by the pure joy on the kids faces at pick-up and drop-off. We are sooo thankful for Alegria Childcare. My daughter started there when she was 7 months old. Marcia and Julia treat her like family. At drop off she shakes with excitement for going. Marcia makes wonderful food and has helped get my daughter on a better schedule. When my friends ask what I love most I tell them it feels like family is watching my daughter -she is so loved and taken care of and that reassurance as a working mom is everything. My daughter goes 5 days a week 8am-5 pm and I know she is getting the love and support she needs - lots of singing and books and fun. We are so thankful for Marcia and her daycare.
