We have been using Mrs. Ellen since 2003 at age 19. Since then, we have bought and sold investment properties, had children, and moved 5 times between 5 states. We don’t trust anyone else to do our taxes. Mrs. Ellen knows her stuff.

Beware they do NOT send your taxes the day you file them as most places do (or how it would be filed if you e-filed yourself). They wait until they have a certain number. I.e. our taxes were not filed for nearly 2 weeks after we completed them. This came to us as quite a negative surprise. Oddly, our taxes were received by the IRS the day we called to find out why we couldn't see anything on the IRS's website.

They are also twice the price of our normal accountant, who was unavailable this year.

We also did not have the good fortune to have Ellen do our taxes. (She is very positive, personable and explains things and the reason for me not leaving less stars.) We instead had a lady that treated us like an inconvenience from the moment we walked through the door.

Hopefully this experience isn't the norm for everyone but I can only write based on our experience.

Used this place to have our taxes done.. unfortunately not a great experience. The ladies were very nice but they don’t seem to know what they are doing or maybe just was not honest. We went in in February to file our tax, and it’s the end of October still have not received our refund. My husband and I both repeatedly called months after filed they kept telling us someone would get back with us on the status. No calls. Finally talked to the state, they said the check was sent out but to an old address?!!! So they never updated our address from 2 moves and it was supposed to be direct deposit.

the very best accountant I would advise all military or farmer and everyone inbetween. awesome, knows her stuff, make appointment, she knows how to take care of you. truly the best, especially if you have investment property, business etc. YOUR CHOICE IS CLEAR.
