I brought my 7 year old laptop in, concerned that it was too old to be fixed. Jeanine ran a hardware test and found that to be good. Being a software issue, she was able to clean it up and return it to me that very same day, and the price was very reasonable. It's working great now, and I'm so relieved to have all of my files in tact, with no need to purchase new, reset all my settings and bookmarks, etc. No having to go thru the aggravation and pain of adjusting to a new computer now! Went in to get a hard drive and ram. Told the guy up front I wanted 16gb of ram and I already had a 250gb ssd and I'd like to get another one. Was told it would cost about $150 if they used parts they already had. I was like that's a bit much but I can't complain right now. Went back to get it and paid $120 for a WD 500gb sata drive and 8gb of mix matched ram. Not worth the money paid for poor services. Charged about $80 just to put them in, online the parts are less than $40. Granted they reinstalled windows I guess but I already have windows install disk so it was kind of redudant.

Not only did he fix the issue but made my computer BETTER, updated everything, fixed my case lighting and installed a couple of really helpful programs. Super friendly and great at what they do.

The owner went above and beyond. I bought memory sticks and he took the time to check compatibility of the sticks, and made certain my system was operating correctly. I paid much less than if I had gotten them from eBay or Amazon.

The owner or the technician, whichever, was not personable and changed prices multiple times during the consultation. (Priced higher each time without added goods or services) Would not recommend. Maybe good at repairs. I didn’t need repairs though.

My Computer Died Today!! That's right dead, not working and boy did it pick the perfect time to die, right in the middle of Tax Season!! I couldn't even take appointments because I couldn't bring up my calendar. I was like a fish out of water and a few times today it did feel like my oxygen had been cut off!! But if I'm posting this then something good must have happened. I was SAVED BY BOBBY AT DEKALB COMPUTERS IN FORT PAYNE!! He sold me a new computer and DID NOT hold me up on the price when I told him how desperate I was. (a couple of other places quoted me prices twice as much as what I paid) On top of that he was able to get all my stuff off the old computer and put in on the new one so that I wasn't lost when I started the new one up. And he did all that and had me up and running again by 10 pm.!!What a guy!! I have a new computer, I didn't get taken to the cleaners on the price & he saved all my information so I can keep getting people the tax refunds they love so much. So remember that when you need anything for your computer. THANK YOU DEKALB COMPUTERS!!! BOBBY YOU ARE THE BOMB!!
