This closing has caused weeks of stress. Our mortgage included some payoffs and the title co didn't overnight or 2-day the payments. So by the time the payments were made, in some cases we had to make extra payments and then request the overpayments back, which is not easy or fast. In another case there was a late fee. In another case there is a cancellation threatened. I've done many loans and closings in my life and paperwork, payments, and documents were always overnighted. That was the purpose of getting up to the minute balances for everything so they're accurate. Even on closing day we weren't told what the procedure was and had to change our plans. The person we worked with was nice but the way this place is managed made everything more difficult than it needed to be. Correct; my last name is not part of my google name. There is no benefit to be had in a phone call. I've given way too much time already.
