Update to our original review - Do not use this company!

We feel compelled to respond to the franchisee’s response to our review - it reveals what it was like to work with her throughout our sale. Instead of responding reasonably and respectfully, she is defensive and saying anything to try to place blame on her customer. Her response contains inaccuracies and several falsehoods, including her statements claiming she asked what solution we were seeking and that we asked for all of the proceeds from the sale!?

The franchisee was unprofessional from the beginning to the end of the sale. She commented more than once that she “didn’t really know what was going on at the house.” Her communication skills were poor, and her answers to our questions were often vague and/or confusing. She focused on herself and her perspective rather than on her customer’s.

Hire someone else to do your sale for you!

Do not use this company!! The franchisee was unprofessional, and lacked understanding of customer service. We were misled and absolutely heartbroken at the results of our sale!

After our sale was over, instead of receiving the expected proceeds from the sale, we received an invoice for money due. We then realized that we had been misled by the franchisee’s initial - and erroneous- explanation about what she meant by “estimate of the sale.” She mistakenly used the phrase to mean two different things -the proceeds from the sale and the company’s charges to us. Of course, we had no way of knowing this at the time.

We expressed our shock about this to the owner, hoping that she would acknowledge her mistake and offer a resolution that would be fair for us. But her arrogant response was merely that we had “achieved our goal of clearing out the house.“ This was her goal, not our primary goal.

This company does not care about fairness for its customers, it cares only about its profits. It is just a high-priced moving company.
