This run is so pretty! I loved seeing all of the geese put walking around. The trail has cute signs with activities, and the hand painted rocks lining the trail are such a cute touch. It feels like a community place and I love it.

Okay let's talk about it! The wild life is abundant, from duck, geese, ravens, and fish, to egrets, cranes, and several other bird species. It is well maintained and a plethora of sights to see. They have a playground with our swings just a heads up. But it is pretty modern. They have public bathrooms that are cleaner than most public parks, no blatant graffiti besides kids carving their initials in wood, stall doors were a little stiff but oh no what shall we ever do?! A lap around the lake is a little over a mile and for the Pokemon go peeps there is a ton of pokestops and pocket monsters to catch. Wonderful views and plenty of benches to stop and enjoy the view. The denizens of pinetop who I assume frequent there are so friendly and warm to strangers, letting my lady and I pet their doggos and holding conversation and even chiming in on songs we were singing. Great place and great community, very recommended.

Walk here almost every day with my dog. Super close to home and very nice walk around the lake with some trails leading off. Plenty of ducks and playnareas for the kids too.

A wonderful place for a walk! Paved walkways and plenty of birds to look at. Would definitely recommend! There are also some trails which are easy to walk.

A nice park with a paved walking trail around the lake. A good fishing lake but not for swimming. Dog friendly as long as they are leashed.

Nice small reservoir, seems popular for fishing off the pier. Great shaded parking if you go back to the end of the first entrance to the park. Easy access to the pier and boat ramp.
However, the lake is full of seaweed so Kayaking is a bit difficult. You have to go out to a clearer section to paddle around or you'll get all wrapped up in the stuff. It moves around like islands in the wind.
Great place for walking your dog(s) around the perimeter path and meet friendly people. Lots of hand-painted colored rocks that line the path.

It is a lovely peaceful place. Walking path was perfect for my elderly dog. We enjoyed looking at everyone's painted rocks on the path. Plenty of picnic spots and benches throughout the park. I highly recommend.
