I'm baffled by my experience with this BBB. I submitted a complaint about by condominium association and the resolution counselor responded that it was a duplicate complaint. I've made previous complaints about the association, but they were all about separate issues. When I pointed this out the counselor acknowledged that the complaints were different but said they were all about bad management and there were mentions of bylaws in multiple complaints. They said they could not accept a second complaint regarding the same company. They also went back and closed previous complaints as invalid/duplicate that had all been completely processed at the time they were made. It seems strange that the previous complaints were not marked duplicate at the time, but all of a sudden they are duplicate. There does not seem to be any objective criteria or process for determining this if a resolution counselor is going back months to change what was previously processed. I acknowledge that four complaints is a lot but these are going back to 2023. If there is a max number of complaints allowed they should just advertise this so customers don't waste their time

I normally don’t leave reviews but felt it’s a must this time. They did a great job when they enclosed the underside of my house and saved it. When it was built dirt was touching the floor joist and that’s a big problem. They got under there and dug down the dirt and encapsulated it added a pump and dehumidifier. Home saves.
Then they had to come out to fix a problem underneath do to the building of the house and they fixed it fast. Both crews were very nice and professional. I would recommend to anyone. Thanks for your help!

The BBB is just as bad and crooked as the very businesses they're supposed to be saving consumers from. Filed a report against Electronic Arts and I get told my claim is "invalid". The only thing invalid is the BBBs ability to do anything anymore. Save your breath and typing fingers don't waste your time with these people. They'd rather watch you get screwed over by big corporations before they actually help you. The BBB is a fraud

My contact with BBB of north AL was due to receiving a fraudulent letter from "PCH" Publisher's Clearing House, telling me I had definitely won a major prize of $450,000. I did NOT call the number on the letter but I did call PCH. After being assured by PCH that they never contact people by letter, I called my local BBB. The young man I spoke with was extremely helpful, professional and informative! He provided me with a link to enter my details of the fraud plus his personal number if I needed him further. He left me with a very favorable attitude toward BBB, that I previously did not have! It's comforting to know they are there if I need them. Public beware of these "fishing frauds" that are looking to steal $$$ from you!!!

The BBB of North Alabama is wonderful! My experience with this BBB has been as an accredited business owner and as a consumer. As a business owner, Pat and Belinda were always there to answer any questions. They helped me identify all the applicable categories and areas served for my business. It was a great fit because our business and customer service principals align with those of the BBB. People in the Huntsville and North Alabama area definitely use the BBB while looking for reputable businesses.

As a consumer, I look for BBB accredited businesses before I hire. I unfortunately had an experience that warranted entering a complaint against a company I hired. The BBB was great and very fair throughout the process, which lead to a fair outcome. The business was accredited and was required to work through the issues.

Landscape Lighting by Pro-Cut is outstanding and I recommend Cliff McGinness, the owner, to anyone needing landscape lighting services. He is professional, courteous, prompt, hardworking, knowledgeable, and skilled, and very reasonably priced. The suggestions he made were invaluable. He does not overdo lighting and listened to my need. I am happy to recommend Cliff and his company to anyone; you won't be disappointed.
