Going in to applying for college I had no idea what I was doing or where to start. Not only did Jackie introduce me to the many steps involved in applying, she was a great help getting everything done and submitted in time. She made this otherwise stressful process easy and helped me fully understand the steps I needed to take. She was able to put together a list of colleges that matched my wants and needs and made sure I knew what I was getting myself into. We initially engaged with Jackie because my son was interested in all out of state schools as well as the possibility of studying abroad. He had very ambitious goals to apply to 20-25 schools with 20% being outside the country. I was unclear where to even start with this process as his mom.

Jackie was able to work directly with my son over multiple sessions to: 1) understand what his major(s) needed to be based on his interests 2) what schools fit that major and were accessible to him 3) what schools fit his "vibe and values" which was important to him. Once they curated that list, Jackie was able to spend time weekly guiding my son on the application process, the personal statement process as well as the prompt essay responses.

Having Jackie leading this process with my son truly saved our relationship, he listened to her advice in a way he would never have with me. We engaged with Jackie on the "all-in" package and it is what I would recommend to all parents. While it may seem like a lot at the time, over 6-7 months of weekly work she quickly earns every penny. I also recommend engaging with her March of Junior year, it really does take that long to prepare.

Now for the good part, what every parent wants to know...was it a successful endeavor for my son, was it worth it? So far, of the 21 applications he has submitted, he has been accepted to 8 out-of-state domestic schools all with scholarship, 1 school in London (his dream) and 1 school in Toronto. We have only received one rejection thus far. He is heading to school in London in the Fall of 2025 so safe to say that Jackie had a huge hand in making my son's college dreams come true!

When it came time to begin researching for college I felt very unprepared and unsure of how to go about everything. It was a very stressful process for me. Then, Jackie was recommended to me. She was so organized, helping me gather my thoughts and focus on what I wanted. She created spreadsheets and to-do lists and helped me understand what specific tasks I should be working on and when I should be focusing on them. At the beginning, I honestly had no idea of what I wanted out of college and where I would end up. Throughout our meetings Jackie helped me discover more of what was out there, even introducing the idea of my future school to me. I would never have even applied to CSU Fort Collins without her help, and now I have visited the school, been accepted and am looking forward to starting in the fall! I truly could not have tackled everything without her, I’m so grateful for all of our time together!
