We chose this motel because it was super close to the best part of the Wildwood Boardwalk, had a decent pool, allowed us to bring our cat (extra $20/night), and we were able to get a two-room suite with a mini-kitchen for a pretty good price. The clientele was pretty typical for the Jersey Shore, lots of smokers unfortunately and room entrances are from the outside, so there was no way to avoid them. Considering that it's an older property with lots of smokers and pets everywhere, I guess the odor wasn't too terrible -- air freshener helped. Everything was pretty old, but in working order. The light in the bathroom was extremely loud but we just tried not to turn it on very often. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the shower, and the shower itself wasn't great, but ultimately, it washed the sand and sunscreen off. Free wifi and free parking as advertised, no problems with either one. The kitchen was not stocked, but after our first day there, we noticed the sign that said if you wanted cookware or dishware, go to the front desk. The front desk staff was very helpful especially when we asked if we could stay an extra night they went out of their way to accommodate us. We had a fantastic vacation and would go again. If you are choosy about everything being real clean, nice-looking, or quiet, you'll have to go elsewhere and probably pay quite a bit more. If good enough is good enough, and you just want to have a great time on the beach and boardwalk, stay here.

The room was updated and in fact the only complaint I have about the room is there was no dresser. There were two closets in the family suite with bars to hang clothes, but no hangers. The room was clean . As a matter of fact the housekeepers and maintenance staff seemed to be very hard workers...and busy all day long. The two pools were clean. I would actually rate this motel at least one star higher if the office front desk men were remotely nice with ANY customer service or people skills. I kid you not...these guys DO NOT know how to speak to people. ALSO...PLEASE NOTE... I booked in January...noted I NEEDED a first floor...called two weeks prior to confirm and was put on the 2nd floor when we arrived with an option to move to the first floor the next day! They also deactivated our key card the next day saying we were supposed to have checked out. It was a simple misunderstanding, but they offered no apologies for any of the inconveniences. The next day the housekeeper said she had us on the list as checking out (again) so I called the office to make sure our keys were not going to be deactivated a second time. The other guy in the office said her list is incorrect...and simply hung up on me. So yeah...the rooms and pool were fine...the customer service stinks...but the price is right and people keep booking for that reason so this review won’t mean much in the end. If I owned this place I’d ditch those two guys in the office!

Beat up and super dirty motel and employees! The deck floor was broken and a liability. They had broken chairs and garbage all over the deck like if no one has been up there in days. The pool water was murky. The bathroom smelled like mold and while there saw an argument with management and other customer about bed bugs. The security guard that sits downstairs by the grill is rude. I asked them for a broom and mop to clean the room so I COULD DO IT and he said he couldn’t cause it’s a liability and couldn’t send anyone to clean cause everyone has left. But it was 3pm

I would give this place a negative star if I could. The hotels were seriously outdated, our bathroom door would not shut unless you slammed it, the bathroom had no exhaust fan to take the shower steam away so the floor had a dampness on it when you got out of the shower. There were ants on the counter top by the sink. The floor was sticky and the first night I walked around the room without socks and my feet were black, like the floor hadn't been clean. There was no housekeeping, we had to keep going to the front desk in the other hotel to ask for towels, toilet paper, and trash bags. The door frame was coming off the wall about two to three inches. I wouldn't let my worst enemy stay here. It isn't worth the money. My family will not be coming back. The only positive thing I can say about the room is the shower pressure was amazing. It felt like you were getting a massage while you were taking a shower.

We stayed in a suite with a pool view. The first room we checked into had a horrible smell and about 10 flies flying around. They switched us to the adjacent room, which was a slight improvement. However, the sink was clogged (we didn’t need to cook, so we used the bathroom sink for water). Under the sink was horrible black mold, and the ceiling above the shower was falling apart. The room key was reused cardboard and not plastic, which lacked the ability to disinfect it. There was a baby back rib bone lying outside of our doorway, along with cigarette butts. The “pool view” we received was that the pool was 4 feet from our door, so it is noisy when people are in the pool. I know that it is a motel, listed as a 1 Star accommodation so I shouldn’t have expected much. However, after paying over $200 for the night, I was very disappointed. Thankfully we were only staying one night and we tried not to be in the room much. The beds were comfortable, but the state of the room did not make us feel good about the cleanliness of the bedding (even though it looked okay). Unfortunately I would not recommend this place, especially for the price we paid.

We had reserved this place in-advance for 3 nights. We had proof of reservation too. We got down there during the blackout. A transformer blew up, and Wildwood was without power for two days, and we got there on day 1 of it. Even though we had proof of reservation, the staff refused to let us in a room, and refused to do anything at all to help. The people working their front desk were unprofessional, rude, and not accomodating at all. We asked them to call a manager or the owner and they refused. The owner should be ashamed of themselves for not being accessible, or physically there for their business, during a crisis situation. They left careless, unqualified staff in charge of the place. The motel was over- run with loud, drunk and high people throwing fireworks around, those are the "guests" who stay at this place. I'm sure its horrible even when the power is on, due to the lack of customer service and hospitality.

The bad part: I got a room with a front and back room, 1 bed in front and 2 in back. It only has AC in back room and even at the lowest setting of 62 the AC doesn't reach the front. If you come here bring a fan unless you like sleeping in the heat. The dining area used plastic lawn chairs that seemed like they would buckle under my weight (yea I'm fat) so I had to eat on the bed. Ants were in every room constantly, even some on the beds, I almost felt like I was intruding on their space. There was even a guest appearance of a roach in the kitchen cabinet. The bathroom tub and sink drained extra slow and the gunk under the utensils was almost enough to make you gag. Also there was no drawers to put your clothes so you have to keep everything in your bags or hang everything up in the closet space (bring extra hangers of course, they provided 5) that's about 14 inches wide and some outlets didn't work. 1 TV in the front room. THE GOOD PART: The dining table was small but nice, fridge was clean and spacious and the blankets matched the curtains. The toilet worked well and was clean. The beds were firm but comfortable and pillows were soft and sheets clean (besides the ants) and they provided plenty of towels and soap. There are 2 decent pools available since Binn and Bonita hotels are ran by the same people. Parking was good. Apparently this hotel attracts lots of questionable people. I thought it was more on the expensive side charging 250 per night, cash only, so I was expecting better than what I got.

The room was huge. A big efficiency. Full size fridge. Two burner stove microwave coffee pot pots and pans. We did have to get paper plates bowl cups and silverware. It was super clean. Beds were great. The pools were great.we came with a 1,2,3,4 and the way the one pool has a fenced off spot for little kids was great.
