Dr. H is fantastic! Though I had a less than ideal experience in my recovery from a gum graft, the Val Vista Smiles team was extremely supportive and helpful in making sure I was taken care of and healed properly! A lot of my coworkers see Dr. H as well and they all have great things to say about the care at Val Vista Smiles. Highly recommend!

As a dental professional for many years (I'm no longer connected to the dental world) I think I have a unique perspective when it comes to an assessment of a dental office. I'm a new patient of this office and have been very impressed with all of my interactions with staff. My first visit was for a new patient comprehensive exam and dental cleaning. My dental hygienists was gentle, knowledgeable and I loved that she let me know what she was doing throughout the appointment. I have a bit of dental phobia but everyone in the office was really patient, kind and gentle. Dr H is great, I had a few teeth that needed treatment (a couple of crowns and fillings) and honestly no pain involved. I feel that Dr H is really conservative in his treatment planning. I did not feel like the office was trying to push me into unnecessary treatment...that is very important to me. They offer an in house dental plan that is affordable for those of us who don't have insurance and in my experience is actually much better than most dental insurance I've seen. I can't say enough good things about the the dental team at Val Vista Smiles! Making an appointment is easy. The dental hygienist I saw was great. Both of Dr H's assistants are kind and experienced. The ladies in the front office are professional and extremely pleasant. Dr. H is a dentist that I would highly recommend to anyone!

I will start out by saying that this dentist is almost an hours drive for me. That being said, it was totally worth it. It was hands down the best dental experience I have ever had. The staff is super friendly and very caring. Dr H seems very passionate and presents you with a wide variety of possibilities. I most recently had my teeth cleaned by Natalie and she was wonderful! I am very, very pleased! Amendment: I just got done with my appointment for my digital mapping. My plan is extensive and well needed. I can't explain enough how much I appreciate the Care and attention.

I highly recommend Val Vista smiles to anyone looking for quality dental options. Dr. Mario and his entire staff are the kindest medical professionals I’ve ever run into. They make you feel comfortable, informed and welcomed. They are humble and show gratitude every time I walk in to the front door. Their office is modern and current without being ostentatious. Dentistry is not high on My list of fun things to do, but this team in this office has turned my anxiety into a positive experience. Dr. Mario takes his time when explaining the different options available and does not make you feel as though he is “” up selling” his practice Or services. Five star all around! Tgank you all!

I am so beyond happy to finally find an amazing Dentist in Arizona. Since moving from Illinois - I have had a hard time finding a dentist that I trust. When I walked into Val Vista Smiles - I immediately felt so welcomed and everyone was so kind. My dental hygienist Natalie was the sweetest and so amazing and took the time to explain everything to make sure I felt as comfortable as possible. I was previously told by another dentist I had two cavities and that I needed a deep cleaning. This office let me know that I did not need this and that wasn't the case. I can tell that this office is truly looking out for me and isn't going to charge me for anything I don't need. When Dr. Mario Herrejon-Ruiz came in to check on my teeth he answered all my questions and did not try to push me to buy anything (which is the case with a lot of other dentists in Arizona). I am SO happy I found this office!

I absolutely loved this place. I’d gotten so used to another dental studio, that did good work, but treated me more like a customer. At Val Vista, I was treated like a patient. Erica is the hygienist, she was very friendly and very thorough and explained everything. Dr. H is great. He is very thorough as well and explains everything and they both answer every question. I was given information about diabetes and a medication I'm on that was affecting my gums. I had no idea. When they’re done my teeth will look good BUT my mouth will be healthy. Your health is their concern! Also, i don’t have to wait for my crowns. They’re all done in office.
