I required assistance in completing my tax returns for the tax years 2022 and 2023. A colleague suggested that I seek your services, but I regret to inform you all that my experience here has been profoundly unsatisfactory.

Upon my arrival, I patiently waited approximately 45 minutes before being attended to. Subsequently, we commenced the tax filing process, beginning with my 2022 tax forms. Despite my limited expertise in taxation matters, certain aspects of the process raised concerns. Notably, no inquiries were made regarding my financial information, and no deductions were incorporated into the filing. The only information utilized was my W2s and head of household status, which resulted in missing out on potential deductions such as medical bills, donations, union dues, and work expenses. Regrettably, I inadvertently accepted the proposed filing method and proceeded accordingly.

Subsequent to the completion of our tax filing, we commenced the preparation of the 2023 tax return. Upon its completion, it became evident that I would incur a tax liability due to the omission of certain deductions. Consequently, I declined the services of the tax preparer for the 2023 tax year, as I had reservations about the accuracy of the work performed. I informed the individual that I would seek the assistance of another tax professional. Subsequently, I departed from the office under the impression that my 2022 tax return had been filed.

On the same day, I consulted with another tax specialist and successfully filed my 2023 tax return. Contrary to my initial concerns, I did not owe any additional taxes and instead received a tax refund.

As of April 9, 2023, I have received the refund for my 2023 tax filing, but not yet for my 2022 filing. I allowed an additional day to pass before following up on the status of the 2022 refund.

On April 10th, 2023, I discovered that my 2022 tax return, which was filed through your company, had not been submitted to the IRS. Upon further investigation, I determined that this oversight had occurred without my knowledge or consent.

I attempted to contact this business to rectify the situation, but after being placed on hold for an extended period, I was disconnected. I subsequently called back and spoke to a representative who acknowledged the error but failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for the lack of communication or notification.

As a result of this negligence, I have been inconvenienced and deprived of my tax refund for an unacceptable amount of time.

I would not advise anyone to come here. The service is poor, and the staff will do the bare minimum to assist you.
