A nice friendly coffee shop. Close to the Columbia trail and a short walk to the river. An easy place to spend time over a cup of coffee.

This is about the store, right next to the Columbia Trail. Is is Sunday and the Califon General Store is closed those days. Saw their banner "open", and a number of bicycles and bikers sitting outside. There is indoor seating. Grabbed a 12 oz can of Coke. The cashier said $4.26, I said for just a can of coke ? The cashier said yes.... I put it back. They only have fancy water and other "healthy" drink options. I have stopped at the General Store many times, guess I'll keep going there or bring my own on my rides.

Bex is an absolute treasure - both the restaurant and the catering! My hubs and I love coming for breakfast/brunch on Sundays - cozy atmosphere, fresh, made-with-love type food and baked goods (Shashukka is my favorite). Bex recently catered my daughter’s bridal shower and everyone raved about the food, which was beautifully presented, with highlights being the tuna tartare on cucumber, crab cake w/chipotle crème, the Greek souvlaki platter with grilled vegetables & chicken and the Mediterranean quinoa & lentil salad. Becky couldn’t have been more lovely to work with and her passion and expertise in what she does comes shining through in her food. Highly recommend!

The food is absolutely delicious. We had a small 10 people gathering event. We ordered 3 appetizers, 1 salad, two main courses, two sides and one dessert. It was a little pricy, but you get so much food. Our guest was able to bring a lot food back home with them after the event. Everything was really delicious, especially the steak. It was the best steak I ever had. It still taste really good after reheating. That was such a successful event, thank you so much! We will for sure come back for future events.

I recently visited BEX in Califon , NJ while out on a group bicycle ride and it was a great experience. This coffee stop is cozy and inviting, and the staff is friendly and very welcoming - especially important for cyclists. The coffee and treats were varied & delicious. I would highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone but specially cyclists , looking for a great cup of coffee & a treat.

WE LOVE BEX!! They catered our 65 person party and sent two staff members to help us out. People cannot stop talking about the food and the staff members were awesome humans to have at our event. Highly recommend!! Thank you!
