I’ve tried and tried to make an appointment for months but I either get the answering machine or I’ve talked to the receptionist. I left several messages on the machine and no one calls me back. When I finally was able to talk to the receptionist, she wasn’t very friendly and she said she’d have to call me back the following Monday. Of course that never happened!!

They never seem to be there when they say they’re going to be open and the receptionist gave me different business days and hours from what the answering machine did.

Dr. Bacon came highly recommended by a friend of mine but it doesn’t matter if he’s the greatest psychiatrist in the world if his office and accessibility is so disorganized.

It’s so hard finding a good psychiatrist and it’s a frustrating road to go down when you have to basically fight to find someone you feel like you might be able to trust while you’re in the middle of a breakdown where you can’t even trust yourself.

Finding trustworthy, experienced, caring mental health practitioners shouldn’t be so difficult!!

I’ve been seeing Dr Bacon for 17 years. I Would refer anybody to this amazing doctor not only is he my doctor he is a great friend of mine. He takes lots of time with his patients and never have I ever felt like he was in a hurry to get rid of me. He’s compassionate and very caring and on top of taking care of his patients at any expense. He’s Helped me get through a lot of physical, mental, and emotional stress, and pain that I have endured over the years. There’s no scale big enough to rate his professionalism and care for his patients. He’s always going above and beyond to make sure before that patient leaves there 100% satisfied with his medical service! I would like to personally thank him from the bottom of my heart for his services.

I've been seeing Dr. Bacon for 17 years now & I've never had a bad experience with him or his staff. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, & if I need to call & ask a question his staff has mainly been able to answer my question right then. If not, they always get back to me right away. The longest I've ever waited for a return call back was 2 hours, in which the office manager let me know it would be that long. And in all of my years going into the office I've never waited longer than 20 mins max to see the doctor. That's only happened a couple of times, but was due to my own fault for running late to my scheduled appointment time. Other than that, I'm in & out & if I need time to talk to Dr. Bacon about anything specific he always lets me talk, explains everything clearly, & makes sure I don't have any other questions or concerns before leaving his office. I look forward to another wonderful year of seeing Dr. Bacon & his staff!

I have been seeing Dr Bacon close to a year now. He has truly changed my life. I was seeing another MD that over medicated me to the point of being a zombie. Dr Bacon takes the time to ensure that my health and my peace of mind is secure. He does not treat his patients like a number as I'm sure many find these days. I commend him for bringing old school practices and modern medicine together and making it work for each patient. He is kind, patient and has never ignored my request for changes as needed. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking to make a change to a sensible, honorable physician such as Dr. Robert Bacon.

Love Dr. Bacon; he's soft spoken and makes you feel very comfortable, doesn't make you feel judged, and most of all, he cares... Staff is hard-working, responsive - but yes, small office (never been able to make out any conversations in any other room, but I guess it could happen...?) Also, he's not a therapist, he's a psychiatrist... he doesn't counsel you, he diagnoses you and prescribes medication and/or makes a treatment plan.

I, unfortunately, can't review Dr Bacon Jr because I never even got a chance to see him. I chose not to sign a form saying the doctor had explained medication to me. I hadn't even seen him yet. How can he explain anything to me? I understand it is a standard practice to do this to save time later and to ensure all signatures are obtained, but I'm not signing something that hasn't happened yet. Sorry. I said I had no problem signing it later when it would be true but the woman who was asking me questions interrupted me very rudely to explain the form, which she explained incorrectly by the way. She got defensive and said she's never had a problem with anyone signing before. It isn't about the form. She interrupted me mid-sentence, raised her voice at me, and said, "Just wait!" before explaining it to me with condescension. I finished the rest of her questions while holding back tears. One of the questions was about anxiety and I told her she was making me feel anxious right now and she laughed at me. I wanted to wait long enough to meet the doctor and explain that I wouldn't be becoming a patient specifically because of her but I was so upset when she finished with me that I just quietly left. Places like this are supposed to treat people with compassion and understanding. That is NOT what happened here. I paid $60 (with insurance) to get treated disrespectfully, not even meet with the doctor, and to leave feeling twice as bad as when I'd arrived.

Doctor's office is incompetent and "Dr. Bacon" equally. They were unable to see me for a simple visit of clearance. They are not versed well in handling patients, people with anxiety or the general public. Please save your peace of mind and find a different doctor. This practice is not friendly or educated enough to handle mental health patients. Ironic!!!!!
