My visit with Dr. Matthew Benz and staff was excellent! Entire visit completed within an hour. Staff is courteous. Dr. Benz and exams are very thorough and I have been a patient for over 10 years-no issues and his office and exam rooms are exceptional!!!

I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care provided by Dr. David M. Brown, MD, FACS. His expertise in managing my macula degeneration in both eyes has been nothing short of extraordinary.

We were there for 2.5 hours while the waiting room filled up completely and there was literal "standing room only". Their waiting room was actually very large...I'm guessing at least 25 seats.

My husband was experiencing pain in his eye where he previously had surgery. This was not a follow-up. It was self-initiated to address symptoms he is having. He has headaches, pain in his eye and is seeing floaters. When he finally saw Dr. Brown the visit lasted less than 1 minute. Dr. Brown asked him if he had pain or saw floaters. My husband told him, "Yes". Dr. Brown quickly looked in both eyes and said, "Looks good...see you in a year."...and that was the extent of a 2.5 hour appointment!

The patient demographics is clear...mostly elderly...probably all on medicare. It's suspicious to wonder if they are just pushing people through and being severely overbooked just to bill medicare. It was ridiculous and we will definitely not return in 1 year.

Note - this is the Cypress clinic. We previously visited Dr. Shah in the Woodlands and the waiting room, nurses and Dr. Shah went over and above. The Woodlands clinic is night and day different than the Cypress clinic.

The eye doctor was great. It's the assistants that are awful. I never got her name and she didn't introduce herself either. She was the tech taking the eye images. She was a Hispanic female middle age or older. When she took the images of my eyes she was rough and handled me like I was an object. She did not tell me to move my head. She basically grabbed my head and turned it whichever was convenient to her. I am having neck pain now as a result of her unprofessionalism and roughness. She obviously doesn't enjoy working. When another employee told her to do a different test she sighed and pouted because she had to do work she is paid to do. I should have spoken up but the way she conducted the exam I was afraid she would cause me more harm.

The staff is very friendly. I have been to the office twice and they have a very consistent process. The doctor has a very nice bedside manner.

I saw Dr David Brown - worst doctor visit I’ve ever had. The wait is extremely long. I spent all of 1 minute with the doctor - seriously, 1 minute! I was there for almost 2 hours and they hadn’t even finished their testing yet. They kept sending me back to the waiting room. I couldn’t wait any longer and asked to come back another time. So the technician told me to wait in line for the receptionist. The wait for the receptionist was really long too, so I just walked out and never completed my testing, and no one ever called to follow up with me. I will never return, worst doctor visit ever!
