I am reviewing on behalf of my mother-in-law, whose first visit with Dr. Matthew Benz was superb. The entire staff -- especially Kevin, Miranda and Victoria at the front desk -- were so nice and helpful. The intake, medical history, imaging and exams were very thorough. Dr. Benz took time to explain things in plain English and was very reassuring. Highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Benz is kind, caring and professional. That care and professionalism saved my eye when I experienced a retinal detachment. It was literally the most frightening thing for me to go blind in my right eye even though it was for one day. Dr. Benz reattached my retina and followed through my recovery and I can now see again in my right eye. That in itself is a miracle to me and I am forever grateful to Dr. Benz and his medical team. The office staff is very friendly. Waiting area is large and wait time is usually minimal. I highly recommend their services.

Great first experience. Efficient and well run office with helpful staff and smiling faces all around even early on a Monday morning after a long holiday weekend. The darkened waiting area after eye dilation was nice although I didn't have to sit there long. I didn't need any procedures done so I can't comment on that aspect of the practice but based on this experience I would not hesitate to go back. I visited the North Cypress location on 290.

I have been working with Dr. Benz for 4 years. He saved my eyesight with an emergency surgery, despite less than optimal circumstances. He answers all my questions and does thorough follow-ups. I am blessed and lucky that my Eye doctor referred me to Dr. Benz.
Dr. Benz is clearly very knowledgeable Retina macula degeneration specialist. Dr. Benz quickly diagnosed my Retina dammage, started the treatment, and stopped the Retina bleeding from the first visit. He also requested and got my insurance approval for the most effective medicine to treat my Retina dammage. My ophthalmologist is amazed by the excellent and fast results of Dr. Benz professional and efficient work. Thank you Dr. Benz and many thanks to your friendly and professional staff . First time visitor. Everyone was very nice. Wait time was short. All associates were very informative. The Dr. Benz spelled out any current and upcoming issues. Would easily recommend this office for eye care.
