I brought my father here for chronic pain, including diabetic neuropathy pain. The insights from the medical team were impractical and not helpful. A drug was prescribed that unfortunately made Dad feel sick, which is no one's fault, but that is all that was offered by the team at that time. My father ended up passing away about one month later (not related to his pain management) and I called to let this office know that my father had passed so we wouldn't be coming to any future appointments; the person who took the call did not even offer condolences. It felt callous.

I've been taking my adult daughter to Dr Sickler (also Dr Barnett) for her severe chronic pain ever since she became disabled after failed spinal surgery in 2016. She is being treated there with medication, not steroid injections. The doctors always listen and take their time with my daughter, at every monthly appointment . We've been very satisfied with Dr Sickler's pain management treatment plan throughout the entire three + years she's been going there.

My experience with Dr. Sickler and Dr. Barnett was terrible! They literally told me, “we do shots here. If you don’t want shots then we can’t help you. “ this is after the maximum number of epidural steroid injections into my spine, which did not help my pain at all. I felt like they never listed to my complaints and were no longer willing to help once I refused more steroid injections. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. My advice would be to find a different pain specialist that is willing to listen and work with you to manage severe chronic pain.

Draconian patient policies that heavily favor their office and leave you with little patient rights or recourse. Go elsewhere.
