This place is scandalous. I applied for a warehouse position on indeed September 18 2024. I was then sent a text message the same day and today September 19, 2024. I went up there this afternoon and arrived at 2:12pm. There were a good amount of people all were of Hispanic/ Dominican descent and there was 3 people a family that was Haitian. Everyone was either registering or waiting to be called. I came up to the desk the receptionist Hispanic woman told me to scan the QR code and sign in. I did. I also sat and registered for the company on my phone as this is my first time. Okay so after an hour of waiting I was finally called and told her the position I was applying for which was a cherry picker or forklift operator as I have prior experience. The position was supposed to be for an immediate start date of Friday September 20, 2024 which is why I went to get everything done. She tells me to come in the back to take a drug test. I come in the back she pulls a chair over to an empty desk as there was another man who said his name was Luis that was sitting back there with her he was an employee. Now she pulls out my oral q tip swap test and I immediately already knew what to do because I’ve taken one before I put it in my mouth under my tongue and I start producing saliva so I can get it moistened up. It doesn’t take too long after a few minutes I remove it for my mouth and sealed it in a the container. I had to use the restroom. I got up not thinking anything would be done to my test as I’m thinking I’m around trustworthy employees it’s only those two behind the desk everyone else is in the waiting room. I use the restroom while my test is out of my sight and when I finished the woman then comes over but she seemed uneasy and was weirdly asking me is this your test is this one here yours. I say yes thinking it’s the same one I left on the counter. I don’t do drugs of any kind nothing none not even alcohol so I’m in my mind like this is all about to be negative. This woman pulls off the results of this test and why did it come back positive for amphetamines. I immediately told her that is not correct. She quickly tells me I can’t take another one. So I’m thinking well could it be from the antibiotics I had to take I call my doctors office up right in front of them they have a nurse immediately call me back and she confirmed there is no way an antibiotic could have resulted in a positive screening. I thanked her and hung up. Not even thinking it could’ve been the office staff I’m stressing myself out in the office like this is impossible the two of them are just talking in Spanish laughing giggling telling me not to work oh just take it next week but I’m asking her to let me take another now I have nothing to hide and I know that it would not show up positive. She’s refused. I strongly believe this paid employee switched out my drug test for someone in that office. That’s why she strongly refused and that was the first thing out of her mouth that I could not take a fresh one in front of her again and sit in front of it the entire time because it’s would’ve raised the question of who’s dirty test did she replace my drug test with. I’m truly hurt that this was intentionally done to me by a staffing agency employee that’s supposed to help people looking for employment. Words aren’t enough to describe how deeply saddened at how the 2 of these employees sat there and seen how badly I couldn’t understand how this happened and refused me another test right there on the spot because they’d knowingly stolen my original test I left unattended with the two of them while quickly using the restroom.

LGS FIRED me in February 2022 after working with them at a BJ’s Distribution Center since October of 2020, I file and go on unemployment mid March because I am a student, fast forward to today with 10 school days until my graduation when LGS recently LIES to unemployment saying I quit the job and now unemployment is looking at me to pay them back all the money from March to last week. I try calling but of course no answer just like when I was employed there they never answer the phone, I leave voicemails, they “claim” they call you back but never do. I can’t even think to a time when I’ve legit been this angry and I feel like this is some sort of scam they have going on. I promise you I’ll get to the bottom of this.

This place is HORRIBLE and I hate to bring up the race card , but Mexican or Spanish get the better jobs. This is fact cause my close friend who is Spanish went to apply at different time and the presentation was totally different .. in fact I have way more experience them him and pay rate was 3 dollars more and he got the option to pick his hrs, I wasn't given that privileged.. Alot these temp services favor Spanish or Mexican.. black people get what's left the LGS I'm talking about is at Independence plaza don't waste your time going there if you have skin of color and she directly told me she doesn't answer the phone she is very unprofessional I don't know who checks these reviews but LGS needs a better representative Sorry or check it out for yourself you'll see !!!!

I went in for an orientation on a Monday and was given a start date. Two days later, I received a voicemail stating the company wanted to start training classes the following day instead of my original start date and if I didn’t call back within 30mins they will move on to the next candidate. No one answered the phone so I assumed they gave the position away. Fast forward a week, I received a call today from LGS Staffing about a position available, I played along to see what they were offering. It was the same position I was given a week earlier, when I called her out on it she told me the company was on hold with bringing on new people but they were actively recruiting. So it seems like they’re trying to reach their recruiting quota but don’t actually have positions available. VERY MUCH A WASTE OF TIME!!!

LGS will have you drive to their office for orientation, tell you that you got the job, and never call you with a start date. I actually heard a gentleman walk into the office during my orientation complaining about how he was supposed to start 2 weeks ago what’s the delay. That was a red flag immediately. I’m now going through the same exact thing and the more I think on it they’re getting paid commission for selling false dreams to those that really need work like I did.

I would never work with LGS again they never answer they phone…. They mess up on your paycheck… they take 2 hours off your paycheck if you work 40 hours and I never heard of that… they lied and said I will get paid $18.48 and I was getting $17.45 I’m also sure they got some illegal stuff going on

I agree with the comment about if you are Spanish you get the better jobs. Was told I would be on forklift and then told I would be doing something else even tho I have more experience than the three other people that started with me.
