I recently purchased a computer from Mike that is very well equipped and runs like a champ. As part of the set-up process, Mike and Aubrey worked for several hours to retrieve precious family photos from my old computer that was on life support. They could have told me that the photos were virtually impossible to retrieve and I would have understood but they did not do that. They knew how meaningful the retrieval would be and they made it happen. Thanks!

Shortly after I bought the computer, I inadvertently allowed some malware to be installed on it. Again, Mike and Aubrey were amazing. Mike explained to me exactly what happened and how to prevent a recurrence. He had me bring in the computer the very next day and, 24 hours after he got it, the computer was completely “disinfected” and back home with me. What a relief.

I highly recommend Advanced IT Solutions and Mike (the owner) for the most professional, respectful, and knowledgeable computer service! I was hacked and witnessed my computer being remotely attacked at 4 am, despite being turned off the night before. In shock, I watched the bright screen for only a minute while a "ghost" scrolled through multiple files with a cursor and opened my bank accounts. I shut it down and unplugged the battery back-up. I reviewed several services for computer repair (large and small businesses) and then called the closest to me. Several businesses were eliminated quickly because they really did not understand what the issue was or they indicated it would take 3 weeks to get a complete assessment. My call to Mike - who actually answered the phone and listened to my description of the event - was immediately able to reassure me that he had seen this multiple times and described how he would remedy the problem in only a few days, and at a reasonable price. He was the furthest distance from me, but the drive was worth it because he immediately took my 2 infected computers and provided reassurance that was sincere, alleviating my stress and panic mode.
Although he said the malware on both computers was "the worst I've ever seen" and extraction of files very difficult, he was able to clean them and reload files, update the operating systems, and add an antivirus program and cleaner for future protection. They were ready to pick up in 2 days!
I remain amazed and relieved by Mike's ability, his unrelenting kindness and reassurance. There is no need to worry about turning on my computers now. They are performing better than when new.

* FIVE STAR SERVICE * Our HP laptop experienced a system failure on a Saturday afternoon, in the middle of shipping out product for our small business. We researched computer repair, read the various 5 star reviews and called Advanced IT Solutions. I didn't post a review right away because I've been SO BUSY enjoying my new machine! As someone who is constantly working, I need a machine with speed and can handle a ton of resources. I explained to Mike that I was having issues with the screen on my PC. He recommended a new PC due to how dated my computer was. I was apprehensive due to having to re-organize and get familiar but it was the best decision I could've made. I would've continued to run a SLOW machine. Mike got me setup, copied all of my data and did it all within 24 hours! I came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was ready by Sunday morning! Excellent work!

Friday afternoon,1:00. My laptop was toast. I called around in a panic looking for computer support. Some had a "Geek Squad" approach, best they could do was show up at my place the following Tuesday. Unacceptable. Called Advanced IT Solutions. Had a conversation with Mike Long. 30 to 45 minutes. He wanted to know my business and why a laptop was important and how I used it. After that he told me to show up at his office at 9:30 Saturday (next day) and he would show me my new laptop with all the software loaded and how to use it. I just had to bring my "toasted" laptop and my back up drive. Everything was as he promised. By Sunday at 11:15 (less than 48 hours from my laptop dying ) my new laptop, with the software loaded, and all of my files was ready.
