I had a great experience at Expert Dental! The office is clean and welcoming, and the front desk staff was very helpful in fitting us in last minute. I felt completely at ease letting my kids go in while I relaxed in their comfortable waiting area.

The dentist and hygienist were patient and thorough, taking the time to explain to my kids how to take care of their teeth. The cleaning was meticulous, and my kids said their teeth felt super clean.

They accepted a wide range of insurances. The clinic is conveniently located by Stuyvesant High School. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional dental experience!

I visited this beautiful dental office for the first time, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The front desk staff and Cindy were super friendly and helpful. My hygienist, Angela, was incredibly detail-oriented and made sure I stayed comfortable throughout the cleaning — my mouth has never felt this clean!

Dr. Shiao is both knowledgeable and thorough. She carefully addressed all my concerns and personalized the treatment plan just for me.

Overall, this clinic is super well-organized and truly focused on patient care. I highly recommend it!

Dr. Rita took such wonderful care of me during the consult and my wisdom tooth extraction. I appreciate how Dr. Rita and her surgical assistant Leslie explained everything that was happening and made sure I had the proper directions for care after the procedure. I would definitely recommend them and plan to go back if I ever need another wisdom tooth removed.

Also the reception team is amazing and set the tone for each visit by being thoughtful, positive and genuine.

Wow! This was my first time going to a dentist other than the dentist I’ve gone to my whole life - SO happy that I found Expert Dental! Everyone from the front desk to my hygienist, Theresa, was so friendly and knowledgeable! They made me feel comfortable from the second that I walked in & eased any dental anxiety that I had before I ever started my cleaning. The cleaning was one of the best & most gentle cleanings I’ve ever had thanks to Theresa. She was very patient and answered any questions that I had + gave me some tips on how to keep my teeth in good condition. This office is also the most stunning dentist office I’ve ever seen, it looks like a spa! Even the bathrooms were stunning & clean (which is a rare combo in the city)! I was nervous to get a deep cleaning after skipping a few rounds! But I had a great PAINLESS experience with my hygienist Debbie today. She walked me through what we would do for a deep cleaning, offered 3 levels of pain relief and checked in throughout the cleaning on how it’s going, explained what she’s doing as she did it, and really respected my pace and tolerance level for a couple of problem areas without compromising what my teeth and gums needed. Very comforting and positive experience. I finally have a go-to!!!

This place is like a spa for your teeth. Dr. Cha made me feel so relaxed that I decided to stay longer after my cleaning relaxing on the lounge chair, chit chatting with Danisha while waiting to get my teeth whitened. Didn’t want to leave! 🙂 Still here 😉 But seriously, they took their time with each tooth and you can tell everyone loves their job. Gals, take your spa day here too cause your teeth need pampering too!

I strongly advise avoiding this business (not practice). Once they have your information and you go for your first visit, you may find yourself stuck in an endless billing cycle. I went in perfectly healthy, but since my visit, I’ve experienced numerous dental problems.

The dentist/prosthodontist appeared inexperienced, forcefully cementing crowns that didn’t fit properly. For nearly six months, I’ve been in constant pain, repeatedly returning for adjustments that only seem to make matters worse. Despite this, they continue to bill my insurance for procedures that appear to have intentionally caused more damage.

Even my insurance provider has struggled to get in touch with them. Meanwhile, I’m bombarded with emails, text messages, and voicemails. To make matters worse, they’ve recommended I see a specialist for surgery something I never needed before and I’ve recently been receiving messages about extractions.

I walked into this business in excellent health, and now I’ve been suffering ever since. This experience has been deeply frustrating and concerning, and I cannot recommend this business to anyone. I should have chosen an out-of-network provider that is reliable and trustworthy. My insurance has informed me that I overpaid for the services, yet Expert Dental is still requesting payment.
