i’ve had a similar problem as the gentleman had a year ago with this software company. i paid my real estate taxes online only to find out the payment wasn't process. i then sent a check to pay my taxes only to receive a call that i had double paid. after some communication with the county i was told that the transaction did not go through and that i would be charged a return fee of $50. i have since asked to be provided with the information i keyed into the payment system only to be told your company does not keep this information and then later told they can only provide the information to the county not the individual. i would like to verification that i enter either my account or routing number incorrectly. which i enter each one twice. i doubt seriously it was entered incorrectly. now i’m having to pay a $50 return fee when at first i was told i had overpaid/credit. i feel like out county treasurer is totally out of control of what’s happening with this company. As she stated she can only email your company. As i am at the mercy of this company and the county. she also stated that a third party company FIS is handling the payments. exactly who is taking our money or not, as in my case. and why didn’t the county know that the payment was returned before calling me and say i had a credit. It really seems communication or lack there of is the real issue/problem

They provide a way to pay our taxes & utilities to our town. However, my last payment was never transmitted, due to an FIS problem. I only found out by looking at my Bank account. No notification was sent out by Edmunds! That in not right and could result in late charges and interest. Will never use again because I can't trust them.
An Update, Now I would ;ike to give them a NEGATIVE FIVE STARS!!!! After being told by them on 11/3 that my payment was lost and would not go through, I drew a check the next day and took it to the Town. Then on 11/7 I get a reminder from Edmonds that my payment will be processed on 10/31 unless I modify or cancel it by 11/7.
I went on the website but could find no option to modify or cancel, so I just cancelled use of their service.
This was all in vain, the next day, 11/8 the money was taken out of my bank account and forwarded to the town who applied it to my 2/1/2023 tax bill.
So, once again, users beware, because Edmonds seems to not know what they are doing. Or maybe what their computer is doing?
