An incredible resource for Massachusetts and in particular for Lowell and the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. The 110 Canal Street UMASS/Lowell iHub (Innovation Hub) is a fertile and supportive environment for innovation, education and excellence. It now has increased in size and has a "twin" facility in Haverhill, MA. What fitting phenomenon, the iHub springing up like a "Phoenix" of rebirth in technology from the historical hub of textile industry innovation, Lowell.

Ihub is an excellent co-working space with friendly staffs and a lot of resources (especially in medical devices and plastics) to design and make prototype products! Affordable price to rent private offices and to use conference rooms allowed our star-up company to grow over the last 1.5 years with low budget. There are many free services (attorneys, business consultants) to help growing companies. Highly recommend to entrepreneurs.

I work out of the shared co-working space here at the hub and really enjoy it. The team is so lovely, the space is clean and bright, and there's always a phone booth or conference room available when I need one. Plus the location is great-an easy walk to lots of good restaurants and cafés.

I've been an iHub member since starting my own consultancy in 2016, and it's been great. I started with a dedicated desk and now rent an office. The resources are great (cafe, WiFi, conference rooms, printers, mail, scanners), there are interesting people, and I've attended several events. Plus, I look more professional on video calls with clients compared to my home office!

I cannot recommend the IHub more highly. I run a small business and grew from solo/self-employed company to one with employees. I was an IHub member for over 3 years and the IHub was a huge help in my company growth. They run a fantastic office and allowed me to focus my time on my company rather than running an office. I have been a member of the UMASS Innovation Hub for several months now, and I can confidently say that it is one of the best shared workspaces I have ever been a part of. The space is always clean and well-maintained, with ample room to work and plenty of options for both quiet focus and collaborative brainstorming.

One thing I really appreciate about the Innovation Hub is the abundance of whiteboards throughout the space. It really encourages creativity and innovation in a way that I haven't found in other workspaces.

In addition to the physical space itself, the Innovation Hub also offers a wealth of educational and networking opportunities. There are regular workshops and events that cover a variety of topics relevant to entrepreneurs and professionals, and I have met some amazing people through these events.

Overall, I would highly recommend the UMASS Innovation Hub to anyone looking for a great shared workspace. It strikes the perfect balance between practicality and fun, and it has definitely helped me take my work to the next level.

For those of us who were not around 100+ years ago. It must of been a sight to see. The birth of the Textile Industry and Manufacturing in general. The cobblestone streets would tell a story of a past once admired and revered. Now 100+ years into the future. A new birth or reincarnation has begun. From an Industry that has been taken over by technology. So how does one recoup a legacy? Retrace your steps of what made you great. And reinvent yourself. The City of Lowell in conjunction with UMass Lowell created a hub of Innovation mixed with a massive amount of creativity. All of it housed at 110 Canal Street.
