This agency continues to be impossible to work with. My son transferred from another county five years ago, where his care was wonderful. Since we moved to Boulder County we have found it impossible to navigate or access services. We have worked with agencies since he was four years old, and we are incredibly grateful for all the help we have received over the years. Unfortunately, it has been impossible to access services through Imagine! And now I am told in order to access the resources he needs we have to work with a caseworker from Imagine, but it has been truly impossible to receive a caseworker. Update… still trying to get services. Update…. Still have not received a case worker. Update 4/3/24 still no services. Update 9/13/24 new name same service my son has still not received services.

My daughter has been with Imagine! in their residential and day program for over 15 years. I feel I have lots of experience with them. THEY ARE WONDERFUL! The staff is caring and patient. They deal with many different disabilities and scenarios with patience and kindness.

Word as staff...
All other Vermonters left at a similar time after abuse of workers and low pay...
Even under payment for overnights below federal limits...

They also need to have emergency services classes to help the public and emergency professionals to sharpen skills...

Poor food quality for clients and lack of solutions vs what's easy... This caused more issues behavior and beyond... Food quality and triggers are important to pay attention to for folks on spectrum or not... You can end up with more issues...

They don't explain anything and it's literally all paperwork, even duplicates of things I've already sent them. It has been a literal year and a half since I first started attempting to get my kid signed up with them. They're making me do their job and it's ridiculous.

THEY'RE WANTING MORE PAPERWORK. It has literally been a year and half since we've applied and my kid still isn't getting any services.

Its been a couple of months since we last tried with this company and we decided to complete cease communication with them and their facility about two or so months ago. They didn't seem too eager to prevent us from ceasing communication and there are no guarantees that they won't be putting another family through the hassle mine had been put through for the past 3 years.

HORRIBLE experience with staff's lack of communication and NO accountability. No one will explain the process. No one will answer you questions. No one responds to emails or calls in timely manner. Then I received communication that I need to complete additional testing on my daughter WHICH I PAY FOR OUT OF POCKET and the testing was not even necessary for what I was seeking assistance on. THEY WASTED MY TIME AND MONEY! I am so angry about the experience and lack of honesty and follow through. I am very upset about the entire process and what they put my family through. I would encourage anyone to avoid this place!
