I really love my stay! Cute room, and the bed was so very comfortable! Check-in was super simple with a key code entry, and I didn't have to worry about losing a room card. 10 minute max walk to my favorite restaurants and instant hot water in the shower.. big plus!!
Planning on staying there again!

This is a typical motel-style structure, on two levels instead of one, with parking right outside the door. The parking spaces were roomy and wide, leaving plenty of space between vehicles which was very nice. The room also was spacious. There was a table with a couple of chairs which were comfortable enough. The room did not have many electrical plugs; I had to use my big plug block to have enough for everything. The bathroom had minimal counter space, with a small counter above the pedestal or wall-style sink. There was a bariatric shower chair in the bathroom, so I put a hand towel on the bariatric chair and used that as a shelf for the toiletries which did not fit on the small shelf above the sink. The shower was just adequate, with minimal water flow but it got the job done. The beds were comfortable. Lighting was a little dim. There was a floor lamp and a lamp between the beds. Overall it was a comfortable room but I'm not sure it was worth the cost when compared with what I paid for other rooms on this trip.

Nicely updated rooms, clean, close to everything. Exactly what you would need for a one night stop or a couples nights if you're going to be out and about all day long. The check in and out process is easy and the staff is always super friendly.

Something to note, there is a train that goes right by the place. Sometimes it's a non issue and sometimes you will hear it at night. Not a deal breaker in my opinion but it is something to take into consideration.

This is clearly an older traditional motel which has been remodelled, but it served very well for one night. It is clean, and rooms are reasonably large. The price is reasonable. Breakfast in the morning is now offered, and it was adequate (cereal with milk, granola bar, a banana, coffee, plus a few other choices). ||The comments about the regular hooting of the trains during the night are correct. I was on the south end of the hotel, and definitely heard them; however, I grew up with that as a child, so it did not bother me. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room near the north end of the motel, or use ear plugs.||The motel is only about two blocks west from the 'City Market' grocery store. I used this to get supplies for a picnic supper, which I ate at one of the picnic tables just across the road, in the small but nice Rotary Triangle Park. There are other options for supper in the downtown area, which is about three or four blocks east of the motel.||Overall, this was a good experience.

My colleague and I stayed here for a few nights while doing field work in the area. I can't say enough good things about this motel! Owner is very nice, the rooms are so cute and quaint, pet friendly with an affordable rate, and the location is right off of US 50 or beside I-70 making it very convenient yet surprisingly quiet (an occasional train is expected, though). It is also not far from Fruita, where there are many great food and drink options. Truly a gem -- I will absolutely stay here again if I'm ever in the area. Happy to support this local and small business!

What a find! Just like the other reviews said, it’s clean, renovated, comfy and for the price, it can’t be beat. Instead of taxing on a bunch of fees like most hotels do, this place does not. The check in process was smooth and the room even came with breakfast! A great rest stop for us while driving to Breckenridge.

For the price it's excellent. Clean with a great modern and easy check in process. Unique and fairly modern rooms. Edible breakfast was included as well which is more than you typically get at lower price hotels.

Only suggestions are to ditch direct TV and replace with smart TVs. Make sure feeling fans are balanced and don't squeak.

Perfectly clean. Walking distance to nearby, quaint town center. Adjacent to a railroad which had infrequent overnight trains during my stay (2). Great place for an easy overnight.
