This place is pretty awesome. We did a 3 hour ride and had a blast. Beautiful scenery. Michael was our guide and was super attentive, engaging and entertaining. I felt very comfortable asking for help if needed. The three hour ride was the perfect length for enjoyment and scenery but was a little hard on my knees. Maybe I'll try the two hour ride next time. One thing to consider is bringing a mask. The trail can stir up some dust so it was very useful having a mask on to filter that out (especially if it's windy). 10/10 experience 👌🏼, highly recommend.

Took the 4hr ride. The trails were not boring and the horses were awesome. With some creeks to cross and steep terrain at times made it fun. The staff, guide and stable hands were extremely friendly, helpful, and happy to see you leaving on ride and returning!!!! Would highly recommend!!! If I had to say only one negative which has nothing to do with the stable is few parts of the trail were very dry so horses kicked up a lot of dust but not enough to make it unpleasant. The sights are beautiful!!!

THIS was the most awesome part of our trip. Riding horses up into the mountains and back down was so cool. I got to see scenery that I would have had to hike to in order to see. Our guide was excellent and made sure she engaged with everyone in our group. If you get the chance to do this, didn't pass out up.

Had a great 4 hour ride with our tour guide (sorry, I can't remember names, but her horse was Rookie). Got to hear some great history about the park while on the tour, along with entertaining conversation. The horses do their jobs well, and it was really interesting to hear our guide talk about her job. If we ever come back to the rockies we'll consider doing a longer ride!

This was AWESOME! My friend and I booked a 4 hour trail ride and it was the best ever. I was a complete beginner and had no trouble at all. My horse Jethro was very sweet and did wonderful on the trail. Our group was 5 riders to one guide so it felt really reasonable. Our guide was Brian and he was very conversational and had lots of cool facts and stories to share about the sights along the trail. I would recommend him if you are able to request a guide. This is something I really want to come back and do again. It was just a ton of fun and a great way to experience some of the trails in Rocky Mountain National Park.

We went on a 2 hour ride this morning with our guide, Bryan. Beautiful scenery, amazing ride and awesome workers! We were very pleased with our very first time riding horses, the workers were very kind and attentive. Bryan was an amazing guide and kept us entertained! He talked us through the scenery and about interesting facts while also getting to know us. We would definitely recommend him and will definitely be back!

Best last-minute adventure we've ever had! We went just to see Rocky Mountain National Park today, but we didn't know we needed to make a reservation. Instead of turning away disappointed, we went down to the stable and we were able to take a trail ride in the park!
The views were incredible—from the mountains down to the wildflowers. The staff were very accommodating and were able to send us with our own guide. We took a two-hour ride and it was well worth it. It was long enough to feel like you actually went somewhere but not so long that you felt saddle-sore at the end. The horses were very sweet and really well groomed.
Liz, our guide, was incredible! She was very knowledgeable about the trail and had all sorts of fun facts about the nature and lore of the park. She handled the horses very well and helped when we had questions.
This is an absolute blast—go if you can!

We are novice riders. We did the two hour ride. It was a wonderful trail ride. Our guide, Landon, was so knowledgeable. He shared historical facts about the area as well as had fantastic conversational skills with the other riders. He made safety checks and offered to take pictures. I would recommend this ride!
