Jack and The Alex Salem team are the best in NYC. They are very fair and work with you, as well as for you. Whatever your needs, whether purchase or sale, or even a consultation Jack and the team will address them promptly, professionally and with respect.

Please beware of Oana Negrea and Alex Salem. They DEMANDED that me and my partner give them $850 “appreciation gift” which is half the rent of the NO FEE apartment I applied for (and now live in). They blackmailed me as Oana said if I don’t pay them, they won’t help negotiate for me. When I told her $850 as a gift is too much and I can give them less, she said even though my application was approved by the landlord, she can still find someone else to take the apartment. She yelled at me over the phone, disrespected me. I learned that it is illegal for an agent to accept more than $25 gift. After signing the lease I was able to contact the landlord, I learned he was completely unaware and put a stop to this. Me and my partner then wrote a negative google reviews. They BLACKMAILED my landlord and told him that they won’t give him our lease, rent and security deposit checks until we remove the negative google reviews. They then emailed me making me promise that I will never write any bad comments about them. After all of us complying to their unethical commands, my landlord finally got our checks a month after we’ve already moved in. They held the rent checks hostage until me and my partner deleted our google reviews! Now that the whole mess is resolved, I’m writing this review so they can be held accountable for their actions. They also had the audacity to reply to my old review and say “sorry I don’t know who you are” etc. and then proceed to email me to remove it. I can’t have freedom of speech? I’ve attached proof in screenshots I’ve taken.
