If I could give XTROV ZERO stars, I would. DO NOT rent from XTROV. I had so many problems with the house. The house was infested with Elm bugs, and they said they couldn't do anything about it. Dishwasher was broke for an entire year. They got mad when they knocked on our door and nobody was home. I got an angry voicemail from them. There are better options in Cortez. DO NOT waste your money here. Security deposit should have been split between the three residents instead of sending it to one person. The person they sent it to refused to evenly split it. Housemate called XTROV said it wasn't their problem. If I could go back in time, I would have not rented 605 East Fourth Street.

We were very disappointed with our experience with X-trov and chose to find another agent to pursue our home search. After the last two showings we went to with Katherine, with a promise for some answers to questions we'd asked the following day, it was a full week before we heard anything from anyone - Katherine never answered our questions and took a full 3 weeks to even follow up with us personally. She also didn't communicate with her assistant, Vonnie, as to our questions and wishes. When Vonnie followed up with us the following week after the showings, and then again another week later, she seemingly had no knowledge of what we had questioned and discussed with Katherine.

Frankly, in selecting an agent we had an expectation of consistent communication and reliability, and truly needed someone knowledgeable and dedicated to help us through the process of purchasing our first home. We had high hopes that Katherine, being highly recommended by HomesFund, would provide us with the level of service we hoped for. Instead we felt that we were not valued as clients and came away with a very disappointing experience.

Only been living in my home for a few months and already nothing is as if was when we moved it. We cannot lock or shut our front door and all requests for repairs have been pushed to the side or ignored. It's a VERY old 2 bedroom home with one tiny bathroom for $750 a month plus ALL utilities. There no water outside to water the yard yet part of the lease agreement includes keeping a nice a tidy outside. There's mold and other issues that no one will return my calls about. I so wish I had never signed this lease because it's only been 3 months and there's lots wrong with no help for a very overpriced house on a trashy piece of land. I just want my front door to close!!!

Edited to add that personal, private, medical information was shared about me by this property manager, this was also over the phone so they had no real way of knowing who they were giving the information to. Luckily in my case it was a family member but it was still information I did not want to be shared and as a property manager they should really learn some boundaries and not share very personal information about clients.

Left me and 3 kids in -5 degree weather for 3 days without heat without so much as a call back, my husband fixed it for them and not even a thank you from them...they also cut down a bunch of trees then left all the debris in the yard so after a couple of months everyone got tired of it and cleaned that up for them (40 hours of free work for them), they let our grass get up to my waist and it was like that for MONTHS. Do not rent from here unless you plan on doing your own repairs and never being reimbursed for it.
