Although I have sold multiple Apple products to Quality Macs in the past I had never purchased one from them until the other day. I've been seeking a 2012 NON retina MBP for close to a year. Although I have looked at many, I am very picky and they just didn't meet my standards for a variety of reasons mainly cosmetic condition.

I decided to check out Quality Mac's inventory to see what they had and lo and behold they had exactly what I wanted. A 2012 with a Samsung EVO SSD and an 8GB RAM upgrade in near perfect condition. They had it rated a 9.25 out of 10 and clearly outlined every single thing that was deemed an imperfection. I even called and talked with Rickey about it to make sure it was listed correctly.

Anyways, I bought it and they actually made a special trip to ship it before the long Holiday weekend. Well, I got the laptop today and I am absolutely ecstatic with it. I don't know how Quality Mac called it a 9.25 because I would rate it a 9.75. It is perfect except for one tiny scratch on the bottom of the casing which was quickly covered up with the hard shell I had purchased separately. It looks brand new and I couldn't be happier with it. Thanks to everyone at Quality Mac

I would hesitate when purchasing refurbished Macbooks from this seller. I purchase a MacBook Pro 2019 six months ago and already had to deal with three major software and hardware issues. When the laptop was delivered, it would not turn on because Quality Macs forgot to reboot and reconfigure the computer, as required during the refurbishing process. As a result, I had to spend several hours on the phone with Quality Macs figuring out how to do the reboot myself. Sometime thereafter, I updated the iOS software on the Macbook, only to discover that I was locked out because Quality Macs had forgotten to remove the remote security lock which was installed on the Macbook by its original owner, and which was turned on by the software update process. Once again, I had to spend several hours on the phone with Quality Macs, figuring out how to manually disable the security lock. Finally, several months ago, my laptop started to deplete battery at an unsustainable rate and randomly shutting off, thereby losing all of the work which I had not saved. When I contacted Quality Macs once more, the representative who I spoke with made a host of excuses as to why it was not Quality Macs' fault, but the result of my installation of the new iOS software on the laptop. Quality Macs also misrepresented the warranty on the laptop, which I had purchased from the company on eBay. The alleged listing stated that Quality Macs was covered by a one year AllState Warranty, and the owner of Quality Macs additionally informed me that the laptop was additionally warrantied by Apple Care. To my disappointment, I discovered that the laptop was not registered with AllState (it was a separate service which I had to add when purchasing the laptop on eBay), and that the Apple Care warranty only applied to the initial owners of the laptop, who had obtained the coverage as part of the owner's corporate company policy.

We use multiple apple devices (iMacs, MacBook Pros, Mac Pros and Studio Displays to name a few) and for more than 7 years now we’ve only used Quality Macs because it saves so much money compared to buying new from Apple. Always a 5 star experience!

This is my fourth purchase with Quality Macs. They are an awesome seller. They ship quickly and items are as described. If there is anything wrong, they fix it very fast. In my previous purchase the power cord was missing. They shipped it overnight to me. In my latest purchase a few of the keys were worn out, so they shipped a new keyboard to me in a couple of days. Fantastic service! Now that I found them and used them repeatedly, I would never risk buying a used/refurbished Mac from any other seller.
