They repaired my tubeless tire by adding a plug and sealant. A month later, it started leaking again, so I returned to the shop. The owner refused to help, claiming he never worked on my bike and couldn’t find my name in the system. Without even checking the previous repair, he suggested I buy a new tire. This was the worst customer experience I've had at a bike shop.

Outstanding customer service! Carson and Anthony at Big Bowl Bikes went out of their way into assist me with finding, what turned out to be a very unique wheel set-up. After visiting two other big name bike shops in Sonoma County (TBP, BB) and being told “we can’t help you”, the team at Big Bowl rolled up there sleeves and made things happen. The services was professional, informed and refreshingly gracious. This small gem of a bike store should be considered one of the best in the North Bay!

Rad, down to earth guys, and fairly priced parts & labor. I got a flat getting off of the SMART train at Petaluma station, and it was a quick walk over. They stayed open after their closing time to not only fix my flat, but replace my crumbling city tires with brand new ones better suited for the local biking conditions. I’ll definitely be back.

Super fair and honest price for bike assembly, friendly and chill vibe and staff. Bike was assembled perfectly. They've also helped us with a inner tube replacement for our BOB stroller too!

Nice to have a good local bike shop! They do fantastic work, mechanic is top notch. If you have anything you need done on your bike don't hesitate to use them. They've done work on my ibis Hakka mx and trek bikes. Good to have a local trek dealer. Shop is well stocked with bikes and gear.

Great bike shop. They ordered, built and setup my new bike perfectly. When I noticed that Marin had sent the wrong spec tires (nothing to do with Big Bowl) they sorted everything out and got me the correct part quickly.

One of the best local bike shop experiences I’ve ever had. Before I got to Big Bowl Bikes, I had gone to Mikes Bikes in hope of a break bleed and help with a jammed bolt on my lever. They told me there was no hope in in fixing it. I thought I was out of luck, until I found Big Bowl. I walked in, and told the owner, Nick, that I had a NICA race the next day, and he was able to work his magic (In a very short timespan). The mechanics were top notch, and he was able to show me how to do the maintenance/which parts were needed. Also was given a great deal. Definitely the best bike store in Petaluma, and definitely will be stopping by next time I am in town.

Short review of Big Bowl Sports, the new Trek dealer in town.

I do most of my own work, but I had a couple of mechanical thingies for which I stood a fair chance of screwing up were I to attempt them myself. Why not let a profession screw 'em up? Plus, I thought it would be a good test for the new kids on the block.
They passed the test! Both thingies were resolved entirely. Price for the work was pretty much industry standard, I think. In both cases, they did over-promise on completion date by a few days, no big deal.
