I used 5 of their free services that were paid for by some utility companies taxes. Their customer service is so bad that I had to call them many times to try to get them to do what they already agreed to do! They NEVER called back when I LEFT a voicemail or promised to call me back to follow up on something I talked about with one of their employees. Their hold times on the phone are always very long. And I got so frustrated a couple times that I asked for a manager. And only the managers helped to get a couple different things done that I had been waiting for them to do for a couple months.

One of the free items I got was two new Niagra .8 gallon per flush toilets. One got a major clog after a few weeks that was impossible to clear more than about 20% with 3 different Augurs I tried on it.

So I bought the highest rated one by the most people at Home Depot. And I paid over $500 total to replace the free one with a much better Kohler ADA Chair Height model that was chair height!

Most companies only sell and install ADA chair height models. And one of them was chair height. But I didn't know the other one that seemed higher than chair height was EXTRA TALL until I paid for the better one and had it installed.

another free service I got was some extra attic insulation blown in to make it thicker than it was. I was told it needs at least 9 inches everywhere to work better. But my electrician that had to work in the attic a few months later said there were big pockets missing in a few places with very little insulation. So they didn’t even do that right!

I would only use them if you qualify for some of the free services they do and don’t mind waiting months and wasting a lot of time calling them back to try to get them to do what they promised to already do. But I would never pay them for any of their horrible services!

Synergy came out to my house and was able to install the smart thermostat for FREE! The tech, Robert M. Was amazing, so kinda and hard working! I love that I can control my thermostat from my phone! It’s so convenient!

Becareful, as grandpa said: " the free goes more Expensive " and is how they get inside your house by "FREE" stuff.

More recently, I had the pleasure of speaking with Melissa to help me set up another appointment through Synergy Companies with home specialist Agustin. I am very grateful to Melissa for leaving me a message to follow up when I initially missed her call. Thank you! Also, Agustin is magnificent home technician, who provided me with a great service a valuable knowledge regarding possible upgrades to our home. Thank you! Speaking to Agustin I found out he's also an Alumnus from NOCE's Electrical Technology Certificate program, which was nice to talk about and have in common, since I am also an alumnus through the High School Diploma, Management Certification, Business Information Worker Certification, Administrative Professional Certification, and now work as a mentor to the Pharmacy Technician Certification program students. My team lead/colleague said you're welcome to come back and teach at NOCE Agustin! You know how to reach me if you're interested.

NEVER SAY YES TO THIS COMPANY! If they come to your door, offering this great deal, say NOPE, “if it’s to good to be true, it’s probably not! “ in this case it’s NOT! My A.C has been out for 2 HOT Days! With no care from synergy! They sent a repo late in the afternoon because they didn’t see regency! I have health conditions! I’m 76 years old! The original lady who came to my door, stating how great this new “free” thermostat is, was kind & sweet! Butttttt, little did I know, the big bad Wolf behind her SYNERGY COMPANY! Had all the tricks! One I didn’t know they were going to put me in some monitoring program, that will put the temp of your home, at a level they think is cool! Nah I didn’t read that in the contract! B s after I got this wack system that hasn’t worked properly sense I’ve had it! They DON’T have the decency to come in and fix it at a timely matter! The eff is going on here! Gosh darn horrible customer care! Stay Away from this “free” Thermostat just buy your own

I’m hot, ac don’t work due to them missing up my ac ! HOT! interfering with my sleep! Interfering with my daily work! Interfere with my dinner time! Dud to extreme heat! My AC was running until they touched it I do not like I’m coming to your home touching your stuff PERIOD!

Triple digit weather no heat due to this company coming into my home giving me a so-called free thermostat always keep in mind everything that’s free isn’t always good for you if they come to your house they know thank you the person they sent to your house will be very kind however once you get the product and they don’t like that you’re disappointed they will not come in and fix your AC back until they feel they want to and in the meantime you will suffer and be hot and can’t sleep and triple digit heat you and your family will be miserable they will not care
